Voices of Currently Dispatched StudentsStudents in Luskin are passionate about making a difference in the world and we are learning the tools to achieve this goal in our own way!I still struggle with learning the different legal systems in the U.S., as well as California's state administrative and policy-making procedure. You don’t need to bring too many clothes, because you will get bunches of free college hoodies from the first day at UCLA! And be really to fall in love with the nice weather and diversified culture in Los Angeles, California!
'Hi guys. This is Soukou. I am currently enrolled as an exchange student in the school of global policy and strategy of ucsd. It’s a global policy school, so you will be expecting a lot of people from around the world. So if you are into making foreign friends or interested in public policies, this is the place you wanna go to. Besides, the weather in San Diego is fantastic compared to that of Tokyo. You can go surfing anytime you want. And you can enjoy the Californian sunshine.'
"Applying to the Dual Degree program has been a very rewarding experience so far. At SIPA, I appreciate the variety of courses and specializations, a vibrant student life, multiple networking and career opportunities, and world-class events happening almost everyday. The downside of this is it's hard to keep up with everything! If you are willing to take this road, be prepared for mental and physical load, as well as to apply for scholarships ahead of time as costs of living in New York are sky-high!"
