Mega Alulok 110 windows is in complete compliance with strictly defined European energy efficiency criteria.It is a well-known fact that energy loss through exterior building envelope amounts to almost 70%, and heat loss through windows amounts to almost 50% of total building heat loss. Efficient energy utilization saves money.

Reduction of losses through windows is achie-ved through limitations of window size, multiple glazing, glazed glass with improved thermal insulation, choice of frame materials and sealing.

It is achieved through implementation of multiple glass pa-nes of various thickness, with a number of gaps filled with noble gas argon, implementation of laminated glass, and better frame sealing.

Profile change (Wechel falz) – is a technical innovative construction where, within a single element, alteration of profiles is enabled by switching from fixer profile to frame profile and vice-versa, thus avoiding a more classical connection of positions (e.g. plug and split joint), where due to the connection width (156 mm) the penetration of light into the space is reduced.

The connection of positions in the plug and split joint variant – is an ideal method for connecting wooden profiles because it increases the solidity of the element itself, since the glue application area is larger, air permeability during seal application is reduced, and the stability of the entire product is largely increased.

An innovative solution – a 95 mm expansion of the door frame / window frame entailed a systematic solution and enabled more space for the accommodation of the roller-shutter mechanism, whether it be a strap automat or the mono-command system. The standard version of the door frame/ window frame did not meet the cri-teria set by the Mega programme.
