Page 2: Executive Overview · Web viewPrimary Objective:Investigate how a single full cycle system can deliver the majority of required capabilities and where other systems are required,

Primary Objective: Investigate how a single full cycle system can deliver the majority of required capabilities and where other systems are required, determine how easily they can be integrated so that redundant data is minimized and member engagement is maximized.

This includes using the proven iMIS 20 Engagement Management System to deliver a best practice model against which to evaluate the existing processes and quantify the financial benefits of streamlining those processes.

These identified savings and expanded revenue opportunities will then be used as the basis for a business case for change within CLIENT ABC.

Secondary Objective: To challenge the thinking of your staff.

A number of satellite systems (such as Outlook and Excel lists) are being used to supplement the existing membership system. What is unclear is how many of those systems are a result of inflexibility in data capture and reporting within the existing membership system compared to a possible lack of staff discipline and / or enforcement to follow established procedures and processes.

Executive Overview

ASI, the world’s leader in association and membership performance improvement offers growth directed clients an accelerated full cycle business improvement program we call the ASI Success Partnership Program or (SPP). Through the SPP program, we work with your executive and operational team in tandem as your strategic partner for up to 4 months to help you implement a full cycle strategy and operational best practice using both advisement and proven management tools to maximize your organization’s performance. Through this interactive and studied approach, we focus on the business drivers of recruit, engage, measure and grow to maximize your operational capabilities and to help you reach your stated objectives.

Seven Phase Engagement Model

As your trusted partner, we have developed a 7-phase client engagement model where we learn your business and then facilitate the implementation of best practices, thought leadership and operational tools to help you efficiently increase your organizations’ performance. To accelerate the implementation of the SPP Program, we offer clients a full credit of the engagement fee towards the iMIS Engagement Management System (EMS) Program that will be presented to you in the final phase of the SPP Program.

We implement the collective experience of over 3,000 membership organizations.

For 20 years, iMIS has been the world leader in association/membership performance improvement. With over 3,000 enterprise level clients, it is not what we say we can do – it is what we actually do that drives our client satisfaction.

The ASI Success Partnership Program (SPP) 7 Operational Success Phases

1. Business Operational Process Assessment

Through a group process, we work with you and your team to understand, document and access up to 4 of your critical business issues and objectives for operational business success. From initial discussions, we would expect the issues, objectives and processes to investigate could include:

o Simulate the process of receiving an enquiry from a person who is investigating whether to apply to become a CLIENT ABC member. This would include establishing a new contact record, adding notes and action items as appropriate, perhaps assigning a secondary task to another CLIENT ABC team member, raising a membership invoice, enrolling the new members in a training course and providing access to the member portal for the new member to download some standard documents.

o Create an on-line join process for a Student Membership. This will start with the creation of a record and include the on-line payment for that new membership. This will show how the member portal is already integrated with the member database and the real-time processing of the financial transaction.

o Import 50 records into iMIS from a specified spread sheet format to show how the current satellite data sources can be consolidated and the options (including standard queries) for your staff to use the system as the “one source of truth” for all contact information at CLIENT ABC.

o Registering for an Event (Training Course) and processing a payment. We also welcome the opportunity to show how iMIS could be used to manage all your professional development activities within the iMIS

system or to demonstrate how to import Wise.NET’s transactions / learning outcomes into iMIS against a member record.

o Note: To do the above processes, a reasonable level of system configuration is required which will allow your team to understand how the iMIS system works and evaluate its flexibility.

Educate and explain how our ASI SPP program will be implemented and work for your organization:

o Build trusting relationships with your managers and designated staff

o Review best practices

o Give thought leadership suggestions

2. Operational Needs Design

Discovery meetings with your designated staff to gather detailed business requirements for up to 4 key processes identified in phase 1 for building the “sandbox”. The 4 key processes may change as a result of the discussions from phase 1 of the project.

The main focus of the project will be identifying the process improvements, including elimination of data duplication, available through the consolidation of data into one full-cycle system.

Identify, where appropriate the expected level of effort to integrate iMIS with other core operational systems, which initially are likely to include the new web site and the Wise.NET system.

3. Sprints & Guided Access

Fast Launch Start Program - design and implement the ASI SPP program in a “Sandbox” to meet the needs detailed in Phase 2

Provide your key staff with access to the “sandbox” for the duration of the engagement including team learning and training in the “sandbox.” This access is managed and guided by the ASI team.

4. Key Performance Benchmark Review

Strategic Information Analysis – document key performance indicators, map operational driver points, execute and review program as needed

Evaluate ASI SPP reports and implement personalization in the “sandbox”

Program testing by operational team to confirm SPP meets your needs

Presentation of benchmarks in the “sandbox” to executive team.

This includes an organizational dashboard for the CEO or selected departmental managers to see “at a glance” the overall position of the organization – members, events and financial performance.

5. IT Assessment & Feasibility Plan

We will provide an assessment of your current computer systems and websites as to whether or not these systems are aligned with your goals for business performance improvement as well as make recommendations to better support this initiative.

We will work with your key managers to develop a feasibility plan for the full implementation of a performance improvement program that will address the optimum times in your annual calendar to implement each new stage of the Performance Improvement platform.

6. Business Improvement Plan

We will work with you and/or your key managers to develop a full cycle business improvement plan for implementing the iMIS Engagement Management System (EMS) which includes the iMIS Guided Performance Scorecard (GPS) program in a way to achieve substantial and perpetual business improvement for your organization

During these engagements we typically uncover additional areas for business performance improvement and we will document those for you

We can help set targets for your improvements and provide peer organization performance benchmarks based on our own client data as well as other sources

7. Full Cycle Readiness Assessment

Review ASI SPP progress, benchmarks, operation success

Client makes decision on going forward with the iMIS Engagement Management System which includes applying a full credit of the ASI SPP engagement fee towards the iMIS EMS project.

Essentially, this is the beginning of the implementation of the other capabilities of the solution that will build on the SPP and deliver the full project objectives
