Timothy (Tim) D. Vargo is Chairman of the Board and Board Member, President and Chief Executive
Officer of Exide Technologies, a global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets. Mr. Vargo retired from Kele Incorporated, a leading distributor of building automation and HVAC products, in April 2017 where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director since 2010. He brings more than 40 years of leadership and managerial experience in capital allocation and restructuring, automotive supply chain and process improvement. Previously, Mr. Vargo served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TruckPro, Inc., a heavy-duty truck parts distributor. Under his leadership, TruckPro significantly improved sales strategies and store operations. Prior to TruckPro, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of AutoZone where he was instrumental in formulating and executing the growth strategy that took the company from 1,000 stores to 3,250 stores and sales from $1.5 billion to over $5 billion.
Tony Genito is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Exide Technologies, a global provider
of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets. Mr. Genito directs the global Finance and Internal Audit functions for Exide and also provides advice and support to the Audit Committee for the Board of Directors of Exide. Mr. Genito joined Exide in 2015 bringing more than 35 years of financial and executive leadership experience, with expertise in international operations and a deep commitment to identifying and executing on long-term financial priorities and objectives. Prior to joining Exide, Mr. Genito served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer at Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc. Mr. Genito served at Schering-Plough Corporation in various financial management positions and began his career at Deloitte & Touche. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mercy College and a Master of Business Administration from Pace University.

Stefan Stübing is Executive Vice President, Exide EMEA for Exide Technologies, a global provider
of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets, and is responsible for leading Transportation and Industrial operations in EMEA. Mr. Stübing has more than 30 years of experience in leading Finance, Treasury and cost accounting teams in the battery industry. He joined Exide in 1995 through the acquisition of the CEAC group and most recently served as Vice President Finance for the EMEA region from 2011 to 2018. Mr. Stübing held various Finance Director level roles within Exide from 1999 to 2010 leading the EMEA Transportation, Global Original Equipment and German Finance teams. Mr. Stübing holds a Finance and Accounting Degree from the Friedberg economics business school.

Ted Becker is Executive Vice President and President, Exide Americas for Exide Technologies, a
global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets and is responsible for leading the Transportation and Industrial operations for the Americas. Mr. Becker, appointed to his current role in June 2017, joined Exide in 2015 in the position of Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service for Exide Americas. Prior to Exide, he spent more than 20 years with the Michelin Group where he served in a variety of positions including Vice President of Marketing for the commercial tire business unit and Director of Sales for the commercial tire and passenger tire business units. Mr. Becker is a graduate of Clemson University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master of Business Administration degree.

Tim Rehg is Senior Vice President, Product and Process Engineering of Exide Technologies, a
global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets and is responsible for global product and process engineering strategy and its deployment globally. Mr. Rehg has more than 25 years of experience in leadership, engineering and innovation for product definition, introduction, launch, marketing and lifecycle strategy as well as platform profitability and market penetration. Mr. Rehg joined Exide in 2016 from General Electric (GE) Power and Water where he held leadership positions in Six Sigma, Quality, Product Management, Engineering and Technology. Prior to GE, Tim worked for Allied Signal/Honeywell as a Technology Program Manager. Tim holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He has been awarded 14 patents and numerous awards for his technical and leadership achievements.
John J. GasparovicEXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER AND SECRETARY
John J. Gasparovic is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Exide
Technologies. Mr. Gasparovic advises the Board of Directors and management on all legal and governance matters and directs the global legal function of the Company. Mr. Gasparovic retired from BorgWarner Inc. in 2018 after serving as its Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Office since 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Gasparovic served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Federal-Mogul Corporation; Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Roadway Corporation; Vice President Business Development and General Counsel of Guardian Automotive; and Assistant General Counsel of Guardian Industries Corp. He began his legal career in the litigation group at the global law firm Jones Day in its Cleveland and Chicago offices. Mr. Gasparovic is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois and is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

Daniel Royer is Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning of

He joined Exide in 1992 and most recently served as the Vice President, Operations in EMEA from 2013-2017. Mr. Royer held various Director level roles within Exide, EMEA from 2000-2013 leading Supply Chain, Logistics, Lean Service and Plant operations. Wendy Henderson is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Exide
Technologies, a global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets and is responsible for directing Human Resources activities across Exide’s worldwide operations including the areas of talent management, leadership and organizational development, compensation and benefits as well as employee relations. Ms. Henderson joined Exide in 2016 from AGL Resources where she served as Vice President, Human Resources and Vice President, Total Rewards during her tenure with the Company. Prior to her time with AGL Resources, Ms. Henderson held various senior management positions in human resources and total rewards with The Wendy’s Company, Arby’s Restaurant Group, and RTM Restaurant Group. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management from the University of Georgia and holds a Master of Science in Business from Georgia State University.

Barbara A. Hatcher is Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer for Exide Technologies,
a global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets and is responsible for real estate and facilities management, enterprise risk management, security as well as economic development and public relations globally. Ms. Hatcher has 30 years of experience in corporate legal practice and 20 of it in the battery manufacturing and distribution industry. Ms. Hatcher joined Exide in 2000 through its acquisition of GNB Technologies Inc., where she was Vice President and General Counsel and has most recently served as Exide’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel from 2006 to 2016. Prior to Exide, Ms. Hatcher was Assistant General Counsel of Burlington Industries, Inc. and also employed by the Washington D.C. law firm of Squire, Sanders and Dempsey. Ms. Hatcher is a 1980 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, and a 1977 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Journalism.
