This map was made in digital form 1996. on the basis of generalizations sheets and soil mapping units of Soil Map of Croatia in scale 1: 50,000. (this soil map was made during 1970-1985). On the map there are allocated 68 soil mapping units, and water areas and settlements Each soil mapping unit represents a heterogenous combination, where is separately isolated dominant (usually > 50%) and other pedosystematic units.

For each soil mapping units there area atribute data about: -rockiness (%) -stoniness (%) -ecological depth (cm) -drainage (good, poorly, …) -way of wetting (hipogleyic, alluvial, …) -slope (%)
In manual of sheets of soil map 1:50.000, there ara about 3.700 soil profiles on the area of Danube Basin, with data for physical and chemical analysis. So , this data are not in digital form.
Besides that, during the last 3 to 4 decades, numerous partial projects in specific area was made. It is estimated that in these materials there are about 1000 -1500 pedological profiles on the area of Danube Basin.
Except that
First: On the area of agricultural land in Croatia during the last 10 years, was carried out project with soil sampling (network 8x8 km) at two depths (0-30 cm and 30-60 cm). The samples are analyzed on basic physical and chemical properties and heavy metal content. It is estimated that in the DRB there are about 600 locations. Second: For the whole Croatian there are available data to the network 5x5 km from the depths of 0-25 cm. These data (geochemical soil analysis plus nitrogen and SOC) are in the geochemical atlas of Croatia
CLIMATE DATA
There is also : Climatological atlas (periods 1961-1990 and 1971-2000 are covered). Data are in form of
map.
Parent material
Croatia has a geological map scale of 1: 300,000 in digital form, with atribute data about age and type of rock.
Relief There is DEM (25*25 m)
LAND COVER There is land cover map for the entire Croatian territory. It is made according to the CORINE methodology for years: 1980, 1990, 2000, 2006 and 2012, with the related changes.
