1988 - Prima s.r.l. was founded, a company distributing products for food packaging, putting together specific and more than twenty years ofexperience in the packaging sector.The closeness to our Customer, the aim of facing the all problems of packaging industry and of meeting specific needs, have been and will always be the guidelines for the continuous improving of a Quality service,driven to the complete satisfaction of the Customer.
1992 - The need to produce its own expanded polystyrene food trays becomes evident; consequently in 1992 MAGIC PACK s.r.l. was founded, a production unit where to create and develop those containers, made for the food industry and the modern distribution system.
2000 - The present plant in Cremona was created: since then the complete cycle production (from the granule to the final product) starts.

2006 - The continuous commercial development in sales, new important European customers, the request for new types of products, thedevelopment in other markets, have soon led to the need to increase the production in expanded polystyrene market and to grow the offer ofmaterials and containers. Therefore the new plant HAPPY s.r.l. was founded, always with complete cycle, made nearby MAGIC PACK.
2009 - ESPERIA s.r.l. was founded, a company with complete cycle (Extrusion and Thermoforming) for the production of PP food trays, especially for modified atmosphere packaging.
SPAIN M&C PACK S.L. was also founded in 2009 and based in Barcelona, for the distribution in the Spanish market and MAGIC PACK DEUTSCHLAND too, sited in Morsenbroicher Weg – Dusseldorf for the development of the German market.In 2011 VINCI LOGISTIC was founded, a transport and service company. In this way, the group consolidates itself as a productive and commercial centre for food trays at the European level, which is able to offer products and systems for food packaging too and to meet all the different needs of packaging, both in terms of quantity and quality-technical terms, for modern distribution and food industry.

The Certifications
MAGIC PACK obtained the certificate of the System UNI-EN ISO 9001-2008 in 2003. Moreover, all the products comply with the European and national standards in terms of food contact suitability.The Quality Assurance department guarantees a continuous monitoring of the production processes thanks to the control of the materials used and the correct application of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good ManufacturingPractice) standards.
The same containers used for food packaging are regularly controlled and tested both internally (as far as the technical features and compliance to use are concerned) and thanks to the analysis of external certified laboratories which analyze global andspecific migration.
All of these processes are made to ensure the whole respect of the current laws and to guarantee high Quality standards for the best productivity of theCustomer and a total food security of the final user.

General, ribbed or for pastry, are always the most economical packaging solution for meat, fish, cheese, sliced meat, fruits and vegetables, among others.
Available in a wide range of models, from the traditional to the most recent ones with vertical walls, to get greater stability optimized packaging line efficiency, presentation and space optimization in display refrigerated counters.

The trays with applied absorbent pad (Tray-pad) is a simple and immediate solution to improve a standard tray into one capable of absorbing excess exudate from meat or fish.Depending on the size of the absorbent pad and on its absorption factor, it can satisfy the most demanding needs.(Available upon request)

Atmo Standard Trays
The range of ATMO trays has been designed and produced taking into account the specific needs in the field of protective atmosphere packaging
®with ATMOPACK and BDF systems The formats of the A-B-C-D-E series, in particular, have been designed taking into consideration the handling and transport needs.In fact, all ATMO trays respect the standard sizes of boxes for handling (40X60), with significant advantages concerning productivity and reduction of costs per unit of handled product.
- The final package is perfectly sealed without risk of film tearing or perforation that, obviously, would make the product unusable or even a risk for the consumer.
- The design result is excellent: the ATMO tray perfectly withstands packaging film stresses without losing its shape, especially on the short sides, the film, remains taut without unpleasant undulations, which not only affect adversely the visibility of the product, but may also reduce the effectiveness of the anti-fog.

The Super tray represents the effort of a research and experimentation that began in 2000 that led, in 2008, to obtaining the European patent (European Patent No. 1707498)
The technology used has allowed us to obtaining a one-layer, mono-material tray with composite structure, with open-cell layers inside and closed-cell layers outside.This structure is able to absorb over the entire surface, even in a vertical position, always ensuring a clean dry packaging, where the exudate from meat or fish is trapped inside the container and therefore, not in direct contact with food.
This not only ensures a better appearance, but also reduces the proliferation of bacteria maintaining the organoleptic characteristics of the product and its freshness for a long period of time.The composite structure of the SUPER tray described above, also presents good mechanical strength and greater efficiency (optimum weight - absorbance ratio).

Top Seal Standard Tray
Top Seal trays are the result of extensive research and experimentation conducted with, on the one hand, the machinery manufacturers and, on the other hand, the customers who use the packaging products. The information and experience gained has allowed us, therefore, to obtain a product line that responds perfectly to the current packaging needs, combining the best technical and functional aspects with design.
Top Seal trays are designed and manufactured to assure the best, as long as necessary, gas sealing used in the preparation of the packaging.
They are also very robust, able to withstand the forces exerted by the vacuum action in the packaging industry, without crushing or deformation,

and the strains and impacts during handling, exposure in the p.o.s and during transportation by the customer to his home.
Any damage to the tray may, in fact, cause a gas leak inside the pack, placing the product under risk.
In addition, the structure of the tray, smooth and without bowing, with a wide and constant width edge, assures, also, excellent machinability, better unstacking, and a proper sliding on the production lines, minimizing the risks of machine stops, and thus ensuring the maximum productive levels.

The Top Seal trays with applied absorbent pad (Tray-pad) are a simple and immediate solution to transform a Top Seal Standard tray into one capable of absorbing exudate coming from meat or fish.
