QualificationsIfyouhavesuccessfullycompletedthefollowingqualification,youwillsatisfysomeofthetechnicalknowledgerequiredforCarpentrywork:

• CPC30111CertificateIIIinCarpentry.

Ifyouhavenotcompletedthiscertificate,theVBAwillassessyourCarpentryknowledgeagainstthecompetenciesincludedinthecertificate.

ExperienceSotheVBAcanassesswhetheryouhavetherequiredexperienceinthiscomponentofdomesticbuildingwork,youshouldprovideaportfolio(tables1,2and3)ofevidencethatdemonstratesyourexperience.Thisevidencemustshowyoucancarryout,andmanageandarrangetocarryoutofalltheactivitiesassociatedwithCarpentryworkinacompetentmannerandtoaprofessionalstandard.

Yourportfolioshouldincludeevidenceof:

• yourexperienceintheareasthatyoutickintable1• yourparticipationintheconstructionofnon-habitablebuilding
