Experience the Vasaloppet festival On the first weekend in March you can see Vasaloppet – the world’s biggest, longest and oldest long-distance ski race, which finishes with spectacular celebrations in Mora.
Buy a genuine Dala horse Sweden’s most purchased souvenir, the Dala horse, has been made ever since the 17th century. In Nusnäs, outside Mora, you can see how they carve and paint these world-famous horses by hand.
Learn about the history of Swedish art Visit Zorn House, the former home of Swedish national painter Anders Zorn, with its charming garden. Indulge in some Swedish art history and round out your day with a nice coffee in the former stables.
