LOCATIONHiltaba Nature Reserve borders the Gawler Ranges National Park on the Eyre Peninsula. The reserve is located on Bungala, Kokatha and Wirangu countries.
Come and experience the magic of Hiltaba for yourself !At the western end of the Gawler Ranges, the unique geological formations of this 770 square kilometre property provide habitat for species such as the Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby, the Slender-billed Thornbill and Desert Green-hood Orchid.
Hiltaba is home to more than 40 state-listed species and nine species listed for their conservation significance. For bird watchers, this is a must-see reserve, but even those without a pair of binoculars will appreciate Hiltaba’s birdlife.
