Experts of Rock Drilling!

The wide-range design is adopted for the parallelogram adjusting mechanism, with a large structural size (i.e. the size of M is large). The installation distance between the trolley traveling cylinders of the two drill masts (the size of M is large), which is equivalent to a triangle structure. This improves the stability of the operation device for construction on hard ground.

Luffing Structure

The box type square shaft casing structure is used for the mast deflection seat. The force of mast is directly transferred onto the trolley traveling mechanism, thus eliminating the stress of the rotary frilling force on weak links of the deflection seat and improving the structural stability and reliability.

Square-Shaft Casing Structure

The self-made special extendable chassis suitable for the actual load is adopted, which improves the stability of the complete machine. With this chassis, construction in any range of 360°can be implemented, and performance of the structural components of the complete machine can be improved, thus ensuring a balanced center of gravity.

Special ChassisThe main and auxiliary winches are installed on the platform, which greatly reduces the tipping torque of the operation device and the rotary inertia of the upper part of the platform and improves the stability of the complete machine.

Winch Arrangement

The high-strength anti-deformation design is adopted for the drill mast. The rectangular mast section is even wider in the guide rail direction. This can effectively reduce the structural stress of the mast and make it more suitable for the rock penetrating construction conditions which involves high-strength variable and constant load.

Mast Structure

The equipment is equipped with the patented elongated drive chain, to effectively resolve the problem of fracture and difficult repair of mounting bolts of the chain, and by coordinating with the drill pipe, it can extend the service life of the drill pipe by more than 10%. With the independent oiler lubricating reducer, it can reduce pollution and enhance the service life of the reducer. The multi-loop forced lubricating cooling system can strengthen the lubricating and heat dissipation effect, and lengthen the service life of the power head.With a multi-sealed structure, it can effectively prevent the sediments entering into the gear box and protect the seals from damage.Equipped with casing drive interface, the casing driver can be directly installed for the machine without any change.

Power Head

The drilling reactive force of the rotary drilling rig is transmitted from the drilling rig to the machine and then from the machine to the ground. Various structural components of the machine are subject to the structural stress resulting from the drilling force. Unique design is adopted for various structural components of the transmission chain on the rotary drilling rig of Sunward so as to guarantee a more stable structure and higher bearing capacity of the machine.

The hydraulic system developed in joint efforts with a world first-class element manufacturer is able to improve the hydraulic energy conversion rate of the element and reduce the transmission loss of pipelines of the system.

Hydraulic Components

The efficient and reliable engine is equipped with efficient hydraulic transmission system, which guarantees the strong power of the machine. The advance intelligent electronic control system can give full play to the efficiency of the machine. Meanwhile, the reasonable local structural design noticeably reduces the wearable and consumable.

Fuel-Conserving and

The perfect matching of overall power of the engine, hydraulic system and load increases the bore forming efficiency by 10% to 25%. The optimized hydraulic system can help reduce the spill loss, throttling loss, and pressure loss along the stroke of the system and can save fuel consumption by 7% to 20%.

Power output modes matching the load could be selected according to the specific geological conditions to improve the efficiency and energy conservation property of the construction process.

Multi-Mode Power Head,

Cummins electronic fuel-injection turbocharged inter-cooling engine is used. The complete machine system boasts such advantages as high reliability, fuel economy and high reserve power. The engine emission meets the European EPAC3 standard, which means the engine is environmental friendly. In addition, it can operate regularly even in alpine and high-altitude areas.

Traditional roller and rope arrangement method

The main winch device is designed innovatively based on the construction characteristics of the main winch of the rotary drilling rig. The rope bearing groove is divided into two layers, the inner stair layer and the outer stair layer, by the roller to effectively protect the wearing rope sections that are used the most frequently and prolong the service life of steel wire rope by more than 100%.

Removal and assembly of counter weight by the mast is allowed without any other hoisting equipment. So no auxil iary equipment is needed.

The plastic profile skeleton structure is adopted for the cab, the front and top of which are covered with the high-strength panel frame shield. This way, the safety of operators is guaranteed to the maximum possible extent.

Sunward offers customers a variety of rotary drilling rig configurations, which enables you to achieve multiply functions with one machine, and carry out diversified construction.

The main machine can be equipped with external oil source interface for construction of casing oscillator. The construction method of casing oscillator is used to solve the collapse that frequently occurs during construction on soil layers of drift sand, sludge and backfill.

Construction Method of Casing Oscillator

With the help of pile casing driver, the rotary drilling rig could increase the embedding speed of pile casing. It is particularly suitable for the backfill layer, superficial sand and gravel layer, multi-karst cave limestone layer, etc. The option of lower pile casing of the pile casing driver could guarantee perpendicularity of the casing and prevent collapse effectively. The drilling machine and the lower pile casing can function at the same time, so as to improve efficiency of the drilling machine.

Construction Method of Pile Casing Driver

The power head integrating high-speed soil throwing function has a soil throwing speed of 140rpm, thus realizing high-speed soil throwing function.

Continuous pile drilling and perfusion are allowed with the construction method of CFA long spiral drilling machine, which is a novel composite base treatment method with high efficiency, especially for small bores, dry bores and shallow bores.

Construction ApplicationsSunward rotary drilling rigs have been used to carry out constructions in various geological conditions in China and

abroad, and never let us down whether in the intermediately (moderately) weathered rock layer, hardened sand layer,

large gravel layer or other complicated geological conditions. This product boasts unique advantages in terms of

integrated control, loss of steel wire rope and other indexes and its performance has reached the international advanced

level. A large number of such machines have been exported to Europe, America, Africa and other places, and have been

used in many typical projects such as Beijing-Shanghai Railway, Hada Passenger Railway, Bird's Nest, Caofeidian

Project of relocation of Shougang Group, Taiyuan-Zhongwei-Yinchuan Railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou Railway,

Zhengshou-Xi'an Railway, etc.

Singapore Subway Construction ProjectThis Project is a car depot project for subway trains with a total cost of 50 million Singapore dollars. Construction was commenced on

March 1, 2014 and wide application of rotary drilling rigs has been required for this Project. Specifically, construction of 4,300 cast-in

place piles and 3,800 pre-cast square piles is needed. Such a heavy construction load places a high requirement on performance of the

rotary drilling rigs.

Construction location: Songhua River Grand Bridge of Haerbin-Dalian Railway

Construction organization: China Communications Construction Company Ltd., China State Construction Engineering Corporation,

China Railway Construction Corporation Limited

Project profile: the layer from the depth of 0 to 30 meters is the sand layer; that from the depth of 30 to 45 meters is the low liquid limit

clay layer; that from the depth of 43 to 53 meters is the fully weathered mud rock layer; and that from the depth of 53 to 65 meters is the

intensely weathered mud rock layer. The Project places very high requirements on engineering technical standards and has a very

short construction period despite the huge work amount. In addition, requirements on environmental protection are also strict. The

geological conditions are complicated, which indicates big technical difficulties. The construction quantity of pile foundation is large.

China Communications Construction Company Ltd., China State Construction Engineering Corporation, and China Railway

Construction Corporation Limited worked jointly with Sunward Intelligent in the entire line and in various aspects. Sunward Intelligent

offered supports in terms of construction equipment, construction process, overall scheme guidance, etc., and set many new records of

construction of Haerbin-Dalian Railway.
