    Planning FORWARDS

    • Complete your High School Planner with the NHS courses that best meet your

    graduation requirements, interests, and abilities.

    • Use the ‘Pathway Eligibility’ tool to explore the post-secondary opportunities

available to you should you stick with that high school plan.

    • Create more than one plan to see how your opportunities might change.

Unsure what you would like to do after high school?

Interested in exploring a variety of options?

  • From your Dashboard,

    click “Portfolios”.

    On the next page, click

    on “Add Portfolio”.

    Type in a title:

    e.g. “Exploring

    Post-Secondary

    Opportunities – IPP

    Session 2”, then click

    “Add Portfolio”.

  • In the navigation menu,

    click “High School”

    then “View Plans”.

    If you already have a

    high school plan, click

    “Add New Plan”

    OR click on the three

    dots next to an existing

    plan then select

    “Copy Plan” to adapt it.

Be sure to name it as

    “My “Forwards” Plan”.

  • Create a full high school

    plan that meets all

    graduation requirements

    based on your interests

    and academic

    preparation.

    Click on the course

    boxes to explore the

    course options that will

    meet your graduation

    requirements.

    Use “Search” to find

    courses that you know

    or click on the

    different disciplines to

    find courses related to

    your interests.

HINT: Not sure what to add?

    Check out the

    KNOWLEDGE SURVEY

(go to ‘Who Am I’ in the navigation menu)

to learn more about which courses are a

    good match for you!

  • If you add a course and

    it appears red in your

    plan, then there is an

    issue with the selection.

    Place your cursor over

    the red circle to clarify

    the issue (e.g. a

    prerequisite course

    might be missing), then

    correct it accordingly.

    Click on “View

    Progress” on your

    “Graduation Indicator” to

    make sure your plan

    meets all graduation

    requirements. If any

    check marks are grey,
