® Express JOHNSON INDUSTRIES This is a reference to help determine starter warranty eligibility. The attached photos and descriptions illustrate starter conditions that are NOT ACCEPTED under warranty. REMINDER: Before installation of replacement starter, perform the following: ENGINE STARTING SYSTEM CIRCUIT INSPECTION t Inspect and/or test battery condition (i.e. voltage, load test, discharge) t Inspect battery terminals and cables for corrosion, loose connection, breakage t Inspect and/or test ignition switch, relays, start switches (i.e. function/corrosion) t Inspect starter for loose or damaged wiring connections, terminals, missing bolts, etc. All items above should be in optimal working condition to insure best results. This is a reference to help determine starter warranty eligibility The attached photos and descriptions illustrate starter conditions that are NOT ACCEPTED under warranty

REMINDER Before installation of replacement starter perform the following

ENGINE STARTING SYSTEM CIRCUIT INSPECTION t Inspect andor test battery condition (ie voltage load test discharge) t Inspect battery terminals and cables for corrosion loose connection breakage t Inspect andor test ignition switch relays start switches (ie functioncorrosion) t Inspect starter for loose or damaged wiring connections terminals missing bolts etc

All items above should be in optimal working condition to insure best results
