Page 8: EXPRESSIONS ® Creating a culture of understanding!

It’s frustrating when I’m explaining

something to someone and they cut me off and tell me to get to the

point.

When I’m learning

something new I need to see it, hear it,

and experience it for myself.

70% of the population tendto have these Experiences

Sometimes I feel that I’m not as smart as

others because I need time to consider

things before making a decision. Often I

feel rushed into agreeing to a decision

I’m not feeling comfortable with.

 Dominant RED Thinking Process

REDS think in terms of chapters -- a beginning, a middle and an end. They possess a balance between conceptual and logical thought processes with an added, and dominant, element of instinct. If a situation does not feel appropriate, a RED thinker will not make a decision or a move from their position.

…and the mouse froze!A RED thinker’s mouse freezes when they are amidst conflict. Their senses become overloaded with stimuli and almost completely shuts down their rational thought process.

There are many times that something comes in to my mind and out my mouth before I realize I'm saying it out loud. It has caused me embarrassment in the past. Sometimes I just feel so misunderstood!

There are many times that something comes in to my mind and out my mouth before I realize I'm saying it out loud. It has caused me embarrassment in the past. Sometimes I just feel so misunderstood!

People sometimes look at me like I'm a 'scatter brain' because I can hop from topic to topic very quickly.

How can that person make a snap decision like that when they don't have all the facts?

Why do we have to have a three hour meeting to discuss an issue that should take about 15 minutes to resolve?
