Creating Your Own Game

This will help you create pixel art characters for a video game.

It will get you thinking about using Photoshop in a different way to normal and get you to create new ideas.

• If you want to practice with an easy program before starting production there is a website to help you

• Use makepixelart.com (this may only work on Firefox)

• Once you have completed your image, print screen and paste it into Photoshop and save as a JPEG.

Now you have to decide on the musical genre and then select appropriate images and fonts to produce the artwork.

You can try this many times and you will get a huge range of possibilities.

Consider producing work for both the front and back of the album.

Extension task:Try to design the inside booklet as well to produce a complete package.
