Bishop David O’Connell and the San Gabriel Pastoral Region

invite you to join us in celebration of the

Jubilee Year of Mercy

December 8, 2015 - November 20, 2016

Mercy in the Streets

Bishop David and the priests of the San Gabriel Pastoral Region, along with teams of deacons and lay leaders will go into the streets in outreach to our brother and sisters. We will not wait for people to come to us but we will go to them. This will be an opportunity for reconciliation, with opportunities to offer Confession, a listening ear, a warm embrace, an invitation to join us for Mass, future events and above all, simply to let them know that Jesus loves them! Dates: Various dates throughout the year are being planned. Check with our website for upcoming dates and locations. www.seekmercy.org

In response to Pope Francis’ invitation: Bishop David O’Connell and a team of priests, deacons, staff members, and lay leaders from the San Gabriel Pastoral Region (SGPR), in collaboration with Office for Religious Education (ORE), have been working to plan activities and support for our parishes during this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. See our website for current updates: www.seekmercy.org This is the plan for the year as it is evolving:
