Washington on Nov. 3, 2017, LeBron James became the 7th player in league history to reach the 29,000-point mark, as well as the youngest to do so at 32 years and 308 days, passing Kobe Bryant (did it at age 33 years, 199 days). He is now closing in on 30,000 points.

• SEASON SELLOUT: The Cavs sold out all 41 regular season home games in 2016-17 as well as all eight 2017 playoff games. It marked the fourth time in franchise history the team has sold out every game (2009-10, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17).

• PASSING 102 IN A ROW: The Cavs’ previous mark of 102 consecutive sellouts occurred from Dec. 12, 2008 to January 21, 2011 (seven 2009 playoff games and six in 2010).

• 13 STRAIGHT HOME OPENER SELLOUTS: The Cavs opened the 2017-18 season at Quicken Loans Arena on Oct. 17, 2017 against Boston, which was their 13th straight home opener sellout.

THE CAVALIERS ON WTAM Cleveland Cavaliers fans will be able to follow the club all season long on the 28-station, Cavaliers Radio Network. All 82 regular season games, as well as the five preseason games and playoff games will be aired live. Returning as the Akron outlet for the 27th season is AM 1590 WAKR. Each broadcast on the Cavaliers Radio Network begins with “Tip-Off Show,” an inside look at the upcoming game. Hosted by Mike Snyder, the show airs 30 minutes prior to game time. It is a comprehensive look at what is happening around the NBA, including interviews, highlights, game reports, injury updates and a preview of the Cavaliers game with Head Coach Tyronn Lue and John Michael. Following each game broadcast, fans can participate in the “Postgame Call-In Show.” Snyder will be joined by Chones and Brad Sellers to provide game analysis, and review the stats and highlights. Fans will hear comments from players in both locker rooms, Coach Lue’s postgame press conference, live reports and highlights from other games around the league, as well as comments from Cavaliers fans everywhere. THE CAVALIERS ON LA MEGA 87.7 FM Veteran broadcaster Rafael Hernández Brito, known as Rafa "El Alcalde", continues to bring his high-energy play-by-play style to each game in Spanish on the Cavaliers broadcast on LA MEGA 87.7 FM. La Mega 87.7 FM will continue to broadcast all 82 regular season games and all preseason and postseason games in Spanish. The 2017-18 season is the fourth in franchise history that Cavaliers games are covered in a second language.

Each Cavaliers broadcast begins with a 15-minute pregame show, hosted by Hernández Brito, which sets the scene for the game, including the latest news about the Cavs and the NBA. Following the game broadcast, he also hosts the postgame show, which features a complete recap with highlights and postgame commentary.

Nationally, Hernández Brito’s broadcasting experience includes 8 years as the voice of NFL football for Spanish Broadcasts on Univision from 2005 to 2013, and he has worked 12 Super Bowls. He was also the Spanish play-by-play voice of the Miami Dolphins, as well as handling the play by play for Major League Baseball, boxing and UFC. Rafa has covered the last five Soccer World Cups. With the 2015 NBA Finals, he became the first broadcaster in the United States to call the Finals of all 3 major sports in Spanish.

CHARGE DROP SEASON OPENER IN GREENSBORO The Canton Charge (0-1), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, fell on the road to the Greensboro Swarm (1-0), 123-88, to open their 2017-18 NBA G League campaign. Kendrick Perkins paced Canton with a double-double of 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 12 rebounds and three blocks in 25 minutes in his first bit of NBA G League action. John Holland scored 11 points with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals in 37 minutes. JaCorey Williams scored 11 points and grabbed seven boards in 27 minutes. The Charge turned the ball over 25 times as a team resulting in 26 Swarm points.

The Charge now move to 1-6 all-time in season opening games, with their lone win coming in 2013 against the Erie BayHawks. Canton is also the only NBA G League team to qualify for the playoffs in each of the last six seasons.
