The Arab Fashion Council (AFC) (مجـــــــــلس األزيـــــــــاء الـــــــــعربـــــــــي :Arabic) is the largest non-profit fashion organization in the Arab World representing the 22 Arab countries. It was established as an international non-governmental entity, including companies and Arab talents in the fashion industry. Incorporated in London through a decree issued by English government on the 19th of September 2014, as a non profit association to develop the fashion industry in the Arab World. London is the city hosting the management’s quarter of the AFC in order to equally represent the 22 Arabic Countries.
The Arab Fashion Council takes the United Arab Emirates as the hub for its operations, due to its prestigious location in the world.
The Arab Fashion Council’s main objective is to position the Arab World on the international fashion map, where the Arab Fashion Council's strategy is to adopt and develop global standards, elevate the talents of Arab designers’ academic studies, and contribute to the development of culture by establishing an Arabic fashion system.
With its business alliances the Arab Fashion Council are committed to nurturing the development of the talented designers and young industry professionals through educational initiatives, and in providing support and resources for them to flourish in the market.
By partnering with selected group of professional organisations, the Arab Fashion Council’s is able to promote a variety of professional business, educational seminars, workshops, courses, competitions and trips covering topics that include retail and fashion trends, global initiatives in the garment industry, distribution, international market and buyer relations, and understanding the business of fashion in the Arab market.

ARAB FASHION COUNCIL STRUCTURE
HIGHER MANAGEMENT is formed from the Higher Management's Honorary President Cav. Mario Boselli, Board of Directors who are the Chief Officers of different departments & Board of Advisers having the duty of running the council, regulation and strategic planning.
H O N O R A R Y C O U N T R Y PRESIDENTS is formed out of esteemed Arabic Ladies from the Royal/Ruling families selected through invitation according to their notabil i ty, achievements in public sector and background. Their duty is to make sure that the AFC is well represented in their countries. Each Lady acts as the Honorary President of the Council in her Country.
HONORARY PIONEERS are those public notable figures whose work has given important contribution to the civil society, charity and the Fashion industry.

As an initiative, the Arab Fashion Council, is currently selecting and preparing a group of Arab fashion designers to take part with the “Arab Fashion Week” the first event of its kind in the Arab world, which will be held twice a year, giving talented Arab designers the opportunity to showcase their latest creations during this important occasion, along to the international fashion designers, with presence of global journalists, media and investors.
The aim of “Arab Fashion Week” is to become a global platform with the prevalent group of an exceptional Arab and international fashion designers. It is the new landmark in fashion industry that represents the 22 Arabic countries and for the first time in the history to be marked on the international calendar of Fashion Weeks similar to the Fashion Week in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
On the 23rd of September 2015, during a press conference the Arab Fashion Council has launched from Milan the schedule of its first official fashion week to take place in Dubai from 31 OCT - 2 NOV 2015.
Elevate the level of the FASHION EDUCATIVE SYSTEM that meets the international standards and requirements by guiding all the schools and controlling the adequacy of their study plan finally admitting those schools that meet the qualification into its board and support their graduates to get experience abroad by providing scholarship awards at the our education academic partners and helping the new talents to build a successful career and brand name for becoming a milestone of the Arab World.

The Arab Fashion Council In collaboration with DOMUS ACADEMY and the support of UNESCO Doha Office promotes the Fashion Education and support the Arab talents by providing a fully covered scholarship for an Arab student after entering an annual competition to study masters in fashion design at the Domus Academy in Milan.
