    INTRODUCTION

    In &'1 of this report it $i"" describe the different types of communication Communication is

    the impartin( or e4chan(in( of information by spea)in( $ritin( or usin( another medium

    This means that $e share and e4chan(e information in different $ays such as $ritten ora"computerised and specia" methods These methods of communication are used by t$o or 

    more peop"e $ho ha.e a common aim but cou"d a"so ha.e conf"ictin( points of .ie$ These

    types of communication can be carried out in interactions bet$een ser.ice users and

     practitioners It can a"so be comp"eted by interactions bet$een professiona"s &"so this report

    $i"" e4p"ore ho$ ser.ice users can fee" .a"ued and supported from the use of different types

    of communication to suit their needs #actors that support and inhibit communication such as

    care .a"ues promotin( eua"ity and di.ersity and maintainin( confidentia"ity

    FACTORS WHICH CAN SUPPORT AND INHIBIT COMMUINCATION

    Communication can be inf"uenced positi.e"y and ne(ati.e"y by a .ariety of factors n some

    occasions if the factor has a ne(ati.e impact on communication it can inhibit the

    communication +.en if the information is seen or heard it can sti"" be misunderstood

     because of these other factors
