Empowering Belgian Fundraisers
The FAB (Fundraisers Alliance Belgium) supports fundraisers by offering training, knowledge and experience exchange opportunities. FAB has the finger firmely on the pulse of any developments in the sector and strives for a more positive image of the profession.
In 2011 some motivated fundraisers decided to pursue a professional trade alliance of fun-draisers in Belgium. This initiative established a solid base of what is now called the Fundraisers Alliance Belgium (FAB).
Today the FAB unites a substantial and fast growing community of individual fundraisers (not organisations). Most members work as a professional or volunteer in organizations from diverse sectors (NGO, healthcare institutions, cultural organizations, university funds, founda-tions etc.).
FAB can also count on the support of profes-sional service providers in the sector, named ‘Friends of the FAB’.
