A&P North East Fabrication offers an express fabrication service to businesses in the renewables, oil and gas, construction, defence, manufacturing and automotive sector.

We fabricate projects of all sizes - from large scale complex works to small scale projects. We offer fast turnaround times without compromising quality. Our average project lifecycle is 6–8 weeks.

The facility is underpinned by rigorous health and safety standards and we have built a reputation of high quality and on-time delivery.

A&P North East Fabrication is a division of A&P Group which operates within its own dedicated workshop within a 66 acre facility on the south side of the River Tyne.

Comprising extensive workshop facilities in excess of 23,000m² with the capacity to undertake simultaneous major fabrication works our facility offers excellent load out facilities to the North Sea.

A&P’s fabrication facilities include:

• 4368m2 fabrication workshop

• 2 x 50 tonne overhead remote controlled cranes, which limit lifts to 100 tonnes and turns to 50 tonnes

• 4,800m² load-out quay, 10 tonnes /m² bearing capacity

• Blasting & coating facilities

• Pipe & machine shop facilities

A&P North East Fabrication is led by A&P General Manager of Fabrication Geoff Harmer. With over 40 forty years of experience in fabrication and welding, Geoff is a well-known face in this sector. Starting his career as an apprentice, Geoff has risen through the ranks to lead some of the leading fabrication businesses in the North East.

Geoff leads a team of project managers, engineers and apprentices. All of the fabrication projects are completed onsite. The A&P team meticulously schedules and plans each project - reducing downtime and ensuring each programme of works is completed on time and to budget.
