Elementary Air Conditioning

• Began installing air conditioning in phases 5 years ago• Funding from delayed state payments• By August 2019 the project will have installed air conditioning in all of our large elementary

classrooms• $3.3 million needed to complete finish the project (LMC area)

Energy Management Initiatives

• 1st year participation in the EnerNOC Demand Response

Incentive Program (ComEd territory only) results in the district

receiving $52,600. This year anticipate receiving over

$72,000. (Fischer, Granger, Still, MVHS & WVHS)

• Transitioning outside lighting to LED.

• Evaluating a proposal for installation of solar panels at MVHS.
