` Radovik ,M (2005) analyzed from his article that leadership is basedon two words, "pressure and support"and that the leadership is thepower to influence people to move in a direction that we believe in our heart is a good direction for most people" (Fennell, 1999, p. 267).

Adams and Yoder noted that "evidence from contemporary studies onsex-roles and leadership indicates that men and women, with similar

education, career aspirations and training, have basically identicalscores on measures of psychological masculinity and femininity." Inother words, the traits that assume are important in good leadershipcan be found among people of both genders. What makes a leader is acomplex question. It includes factors from the environment in which anindividual was raised, his or her family situation, and his or her personality traits.

` Mcconell, S (2010) analysed from her article that one of the bestthings about starting and growing a business is how much youget to grow as a person. Taking a business from start-up to six-figures and way beyond requires a lot of energy-specificallyfemale and male energy. As with all things in the universe, balance is again the key. In business, one will reach profits faster when one can embody both female and male energy in hisbusiness. As a married women with four children and the coachto hundreds of women and men over the last decade, he havebeen observing the differences between men and women (andboys and girls too) .

` Luu, j (2009) analysed from his article that Many employeeengagement initiatives were designed in strong economic times. As the economy slows and money dries up, organizations arealso threatened with a downturn in employee engagement. Thestudy shows that employees in different demographic groups feeldifferently about what's important to be emotionally engaged withtheir employer. Differences are analyzed for career stage, employee gender and tenure within an organization. HumanResource (HR) managers aiming to increase employees' levelsof engagement can leverage these differences by tailoringinitiatives to suit the demographic makeup of their workforce. This helps to optimize resources and maximize outcomes.

` Minniti & Naude (2010) analyzed that the rate of new businessformation by women has significantly outpaced the rate of newbusiness formation by men across all ethnic groups in the USA.Similar trends are found across the developing world. However, women still own and manage significantly fewer businesses thanmen. The explanation for this phenomenon, the behaviour of female

entrepreneurs in terms of traits, motivations, and success rates, andtheir gender-related distinctiveness are complex and multifaceted.Despite a growing literature we still need more research on femaleentrepreneurship²particularly in developing countries where we areseeing a growing number of initiatives aimed at promotingentrepreneurship and empowering women in the process.

` Kundu and Rani (2006) analyzed the impact of region andeducational background on entrepreneurial orientation of Indianyoung female trainees by using four personality descriptors i. e.need for achievement, innovation, personal control, and self-esteem around three attitude components i.e. affect, behavior, and cognition. They also found that Entrepreneurs are examinedfrom various perspectives, such as attitudes, backgrounds, personality traits, economic factors, contextual circumstances, and aspect of social marginality, gender, and geographicallocation. Like men entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs have anequal role to play in the nation¶s development. Womenentrepreneurs seem to influence positively the economic growth

and employment creation in a country and also it is a vehicle toempower women economically, socially, and politically.

` Verheul I, et. Al (2005) analyzed the impact of severalfactors on female and male entrepreneurship at the countrylevel. Female entrepreneurs are considered important for economic development. Not only do they contribute toemployment creation and economic growth through their increasing numbers, they also make a contribution to thediversity of entrepreneurship in the economic process.Female and male entrepreneurship differ with respect totheir personal and business profile: they start and runbusinesses in a different fashion. They also found that

despite the economic importance of female entrepreneurs, their number still lags behind that of male entrepreneurs.

` Kollan & Parikh (2005) analyzed that entrepreneurship amongstwomen has been a recent concern. Women have become awareof their rights and their work situation. However, women of themiddle class are not too eager to alter their role in fear of socialbacklash. The progress is more visible among upper classfamilies in urban cities. They analyzed that these women fall intotwo categories. One set took to creating and managing anentrepreneurial activity where there was no income generatingmale. The woman gave up her education and any other aspirations for herself and became the income generator for therest of the family. The second category was the one who lived bysocial roles and woke up one day to find that either she took

charge of the enterprise the husband had left or she had her ownfamily would be the losers. For both this sets of women, it tookenormous courage to break through the social maps and coding.

` Paton N (2008) analyzed that women are hugely active increating and running businesses around the world, contributingto economies representing more than 70 per cent of the world'spopulation and 93 per cent of global GDP. They also foundduring their research that women entrepreneurs generally hadless fear of failure than women who were not involved inentrepreneurial activity, yet they expressed a greater fear of business failure than men when it came to starting businesses. They concluded that once involved in entrepreneurial activity, their confidence built and they were more likely to know other entrepreneurs and exploit viable opportunities just like their malecounterparts. Fear of failure was also higher for women in all

country groups compared with their male counterparts.

` Kumara S, et. Al (2010) conducted a research in Rajasthan onrural woman entrepreneurs. They analyzed that a country, whichis rich in entrepreneurship, can attain economic augmentation. The Entrepreneurs organize the economic ventures for producing goods and services at lower cost with objects of maximization of new employment and setting up new business. They concluded that probably availability of finance is not asdifficult as repayment of it is. The repayments are problematicdue to low paying capacity which is affected by lack of education, poor skills, and certain problems related to marketing viz. lack of mobility, prejudiced attitude towards women and caste to whichthey belong and poor infrastructural support. Thus, if the women

are to be successful entrepreneurs, they are to be educated, skilled and trained sufficiently and to be supported rigorously byexternal environment to handle their entrepreneurial problems.
