Rules for Factors/Multiples American Football The purpose of the American football game is to review material and to reinforce the concepts. Students will play in pairs. The first level is a 10 yard gain, second level is a 20 yard gain, third level is a 30 yard gain, and the final level is a 50 yard gain. Each player must answer each question. Game starts at 20 yard line. A football field is a total of 100 yards divided into 10 yards. Tossing a coin determines who goes first. How to Score: 1. 3 tries to get to a touch-down by getting 3 correct answers. 2. If a player misses an answer, opponent has a chance to intercept, change direction of the ball, and take control of the ball. Opponent must get answer correct If opponent misses answer, then play resumes again where ball was last 3. Ball moves depending on number of yards for the problem. 4. When a touch down occurs, then opponent begins ball at the 20 yard line. How to Intercept: 1. When player who has the ball misses the answer, and opponent answers it correctly.
