Kontour is a design studio in Houston, Texas, founded by Sibylle Hagmann in 2000. Since its establishment, the studio

was committed to projects for the non-profit sector. The client base includes the arts sector, institutions like the

Museum of Fine Arts Houston, MFAH; the Menil Collection, Houston; the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas; Fisher

Gallery of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles; among others. The work produced in collaboration with

this clientele are fine art catalogues, hardbound books and ephemera.

California. Introduced in Emigre Magazine, Issue #62, spring 2002.

1999 Cholla. Creation of the typeface family, consisting of twelve weights. Commissioned by the

Art Center College of Design (ACCD), Pasadena, California, for the 1999/2000 admissions catalog

and for promotional material designed by the ACCD design office. Distributed by the type foundry

Emigre, Sacramento, California. Introduced in Emigre Magazine, Issue #50, spring 1999.
