Dr. Tariq Ashraf obtained MA degree in Political science from Hindu College,
University of Delhi and holds PG and Doctoral degrees in Library & Information
Science from Department of Library & Information Science, University of Delhi. He
is currently heading the South Campus Library of University of Delhi, and has earlier
worked as Librarian at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, IILM, and Centre
For Policy Research, New Delhi.
During last 25 year of his career, Dr. Ashraf has contributed more than 30 articles
and research papers in various prestigious national and international journals and
has been resource person/speaker/presenter /trainer and subject experts at several
workshops and seminars both at national and international level
Among his 8 books, a commissioned documentation of India's Parliamentary
elections since Ist election to 16th held in 2014 has been considered as one of
outstanding contribution to documentation and election studies.
He has been a member of Editorial Boards of several prestigious publications like
ILA Bulletin, MANLIBNET Review and is currently Editor of its quarterly journal-
Journal of Library Management
Dr. Ashraf is a twice winner of international paper contest held by
American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIST) and has travelled
to USA, Japan , Philippines, Singapore, Hongkong ,Germany, Italy and UAE on
various professional grants.

Rajesh Singh is presently working as Professional Senior (Deputy Librarian)
Electronic Resources & Training Division, University of Delhi, Delhi. A Gold Medalist
from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Mr. Singh has served various
organizations in different professional capacities. He has served Indian School of
Mines, Dhanbad, as Sr. Professional Assistant; IASE, MJP Rohilkhand University,
Bareilly, as Assistant Librarian and Dr. RML Avadh University, Faizabad, also as
Assistant Librarian. He has around two dozens of papers to his credit.
Mr. Singh’s area of interest and specialization includes Information Literacy and
Competency, WWW Resources, Online Search Techniques, Meta/Federated
Searching etc. Mr. Singh is regularly conducting Information Literacy Program in
Delhi University Campus as well as in the colleges. He has delivered lectures on
Online Searching Techniques, Analytical and citation tools, Use and Importance of
E-Resources, and Web as a digital resource in libraries.

Dr. Lokesh Sharma has joined as Deputy Librarian I/c of the Ratan Tata
Library (RTL), at the Delhi School of Economics (DSE) in March, 2006 after serving
as the Librarian for more than a decade in the Ramjas College, Delhi University.
Before joining the Ramjas College, he served for about 19 years in the Delhi
University Library System as Professional Assistant. He is B. Sc., M. A. in Sociology,
M. L. I. S. from DU and Ph. D. in Lib. & Inf. Sc. from
the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is recipient of Gold Medal from Rajasthan
University, Jaipur for securing 1st Position at B. Lib. in the year 1975-76, Merit
Certificate for securing 2nd position in the order of merit of First divisioners at
MLIS examination of DU in the year 1983-84 and Bronze Medal from FAO (UN) for
participating in an Essay Competition in the year 1984.
To his credit, he has got computerized Ramjas College Library and Ratan Tata
Library DU in the years 2000 and 2010 respectively. He has authored and edited five
books and more than fifteen research articles in national and international journals.
In addition, He has attended various national and international conferences in India
and abroad and presented papers.

Ms. Roshni Saigal, South Asia Head of Bloomberg’s Education Strategy
Ms Saigal manages the education vertical for Bloomberg L.P., the world’s largest
decision support platform for governments and corporations. She operates across
the South Asia region, to support leading domestic and global educational
institutions in benefiting from their relationship with Bloomberg. She actively
contributes to 15 finance labs across India including at FMS Delhi.
Through her consultation, these institutions enhance their infrastructure for
curriculum, research, library, brand building and placement activities.
She also manages the Bloomberg Champions Program, an offsite intership
initiative. This comprises of a team of 60 interns across 30 top Indian institutions
including the IIMs, IIT, Central Universities and more.
She is a specialist in Equities and has studied Economics.
