Faculty of Human Sciences
The Faculty of Human Sciences, previously the Faculty of Arts, is the earliest
founded Faculty at BAU located on Beirut Campus, and it is a cornerstone of
the University. The Faculty consists of a number of departments representing
various disciplines of the humanities ranging from social sciences to
three major languages. This academic structure of the Faculty is a clear
manifestation of its importance and its substantial contribution to the
education in Lebanon.
In the light of the rapid changes and progress in the fields of technology
and knowledge, the Faculty of Human Sciences has adopted a philosophy of
growth and sustainable development by applying new methods in teaching
and learning, producing graduates worthy of the reputation of BAU, and being
capable of satisfying the needs of the job-market. To further enhance our
cutting edge, the Faculty has taken its first steps towards the international
academic accreditation, with the accreditation of the Psychology Program by
AHPGS (The Accreditation Agency in Health & Social Sciences) in 2017.
