Why did Andean Collection change its name to Faire Collection?We have transcended our Andean roots! Our new name reflects an epic expansion in our artisan partners and the types of products that we offer. With this global expansion, Faire Collection will be adapting our proven model to bring more success to artisans around the world.

How many artisans will you now work with and where will you work?The new Faire Collection works with 117 artisans in Vietnam, Peru and Swaziland, in addition to expanding its original operations in Ecuador to 108 artisans for a total of 225 artisans worldwide.

Why the name Faire Collection?Faire Collection represents our commitment to fair trade. Faire in French also means “to make”, reflecting our commitment to artisan-made products. Plus, we think it sounds pretty!

Why did Andean Collection want to expand beyond the Andes?The overwhelming success of Andean Collection propelled our CEO, Amanda, to explore beyond the Andes. But she didn’t need much of a push. She is a true globetrotter, having visited and lived in more than 25 countries. Throughout her travels, Amanda and our designers curate inspired designs made with the finest materials and techniques from Swaziland, Vietnam, Peru and the Amazon basin of Ecuador. This expansion beyond Ecuador has led the company to develop a brand name that represents this new broad and diverse group of artisans.

Will your old website and email addresses work?Yes! These will all redirect to our new shopfaire.com website and email addresses for three months.

Will your office or warehouse address change?Nope – this will all stay the same.

What can we expect from Faire Collection in the future?A lot! Amanda will be continuously traveling to all corners of the world on a never-ending quest to find more things that you will love. In these raw and remote environments, Amanda and her design team collaborate with local artisans to create inspired designs that allow the artisans to earn a fair wage and make a better life for themselves. New products could be housewares, they may be clothing, and it may be something great we haven’t even thought of yet. Stay tuned and watch how it all unfolds!

Does Andean Collection still exist?Yes. Now Andean Collection is the name of Faire Collection’s wholly owned and exclusive production company in Ecuador.
