It is hard to believe that the time has come for us to move on. I want to express thanks for all you have done and all you have meant to us. I thank you for welcoming Phyllis and I in September of 2013. You answered our prayers and provided a place for us at an important time in our lives. I thank you for making us a part of your family. You have loved us and welcomed us and made us feel at home. I want to thank you again for your support these past few months as we grieved the loss of our son, David. Without your prayers and love, we would not have been able to bear the pain as well as we have. Thank you. Thank you for allowing us to pursue retirement with our family in Arizona. I know our plans have created anxiety about what will happen here in Fairfield with church. Please know that we will be praying for you just as you have been praying for us. Trust that God will provide everything you need to do the work that he has called you to do in this place. Thank you to our consistory. Pray for them. Their work load becomes heavier without a pastor in place. Thanks for every one of you. You have made our ministry one of the best experiences in our forty years of ministry. We will miss you all very much. God be with you till we meet again. Allan

Dear friends,

This is my last newsletter to you. It is hard to believe that

the time has come for us to move on. I want to express thanks for

all you have done and all you have meant to us.

I thank you for welcoming Phyllis and I in September of

2013. You answered our prayers and provided a place for us at an

important time in our lives. I thank you for making us a part of

your family. You have loved us and welcomed us and made us feel

at home.

I want to thank you again for your support these past few

months as we grieved the loss of our son, David. Without your

prayers and love, we would not have been able to bear the pain as

well as we have. Thank you.

Thank you for allowing us to pursue retirement with our

family in Arizona. I know our plans have created anxiety about

what will happen here in Fairfield with church. Please know that

we will be praying for you just as you have been praying for us.

Trust that God will provide everything you need to do the work

that he has called you to do in this place.

Thank you to our consistory. Pray for them. Their work

load becomes heavier without a pastor in place.

Thanks for every one of you. You have made our ministry

one of the best experiences in our forty years of ministry. We will

miss you all very much.

God be with you till we meet again.

Allan
