The iconic Squadron series has always been regarded as representing Fairline’s most visually striking, design-advanced and

exclusive models. They have, until now, also been the largest yachts in this internationally renowned line-up.

With the launch of the new Squadron 42, which incorporates many of the design and technology advances pioneered in

her larger sister ships - as well as many practical, cutting-edge innovations seen here for the first time - Fairline have created

a unique flybridge yacht of ultimate luxury, spaciousness and performance, all within a remarkably compact hull length.

She’s every inch a Squadron, thanks to the elegant, sweeping lines and huge, panoramic window areas that not only look

fabulous, but which flood the interior with light and give a spacious, airy feeling. That same sense of space and ‘big boat’

luxury is further enhanced by the extra-large flybridge, the walk-around side decks - and the unusual ‘openness’ of the

cockpit with its twin transom gates. These allow easy access on either side of the cockpit seating which converts - cleverly

and easily - into a unique, rear-facing lounger.

Another exciting ‘first’ on the Squadron 42 is the option of a concealed, cantilevered tender launching system; it will hold a

tender such as the Williams 285 Jet RIB and incorporates a lowered boarding area. All these advantages, combined with the

separate passerelle, add up to a level of convenience in stern layout and facilities unprecedented on a boat of this size.

The inside story is pure Squadron too. Unmatched craftsmanship and practical, user-friendly design that has become the

‘DNA’ of these stunning yachts; so owners and guests will enjoy class-leading accommodation everywhere - from the light,

airy saloon, with full length windows and sumptuous furnishings (including a fold-out bed with 6" mattress in the sofa) to

the master cabin, with feature skylights and fabulous en suite - to the guest cabin, which not only has beds that quickly

convert from 2 singles to a double, but has a unique layout with double doors to its own en suite; with these doors open,

the guest cabin almost doubles in useable size and has a great feeling of spaciousness. As befits a ‘proper’ cruising boat,

the galley is large, light-filled and equipped with up to two fridges and a host of storage options.

The Squadron 42. Put simply there’s never been so much excellence in a boat of this size. Until now.
