What Is Environmental Education? Environmental education

“teaches children and adults how to learn about and investigate their environment, and to make intelligent, informed decisions about how they can take care of it.” (Source: NAAEE)

EE encompasses a variety of subjects, such as earth science, biology, chemistry and social sciences.

Environmental education is most effective when taught in an organized sequence.
