Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This catalog is a token of our love for you. It is also our pledge to you: to spend our energies building

up of the Body of Christ here in our community. Jesus, Who poured out His Life for us, has given us

everything we need to grow in His Image, unto the fullness of His Life here on earth, and someday in

eternal joy and glory. Therefore we have worked very carefully to include in our programs something

for everyone. In these pages you will find a picture of life in our Parish Family for the coming year. It

is almost a complete picture. Almost. Yes, we may have left a couple of things out. But the most im-

portant element that is missing from this picture is you. Your presence here as a member of the fami-

ly of God is what we value and cherish the most. So we hope you will take a little time to look over

this catalog with your loved ones, and that you’ll be a part of the picture of Life in Christ here at St.

Paul’s.

In the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,

Rev. Fr. Dindo Bruno Cuario

ion.” Catechism of the Catholic Church #1229

RCIA is the spiritual journey of preparation for unbaptized adults, baptized Catholics and baptized non

-Catholic Christians who wish to enter into full communion with Christ and His Church. During the

St. Paul’s Faith Development program is designed to supplement the teaching and example already pro-

vided by parents. The Faith First Legacy Edition provides a dynamic framework for classroom participa-

tion, and it is specifically designed for each grade level. This program is open to all children in our Parish

Family – those young people who are ready to take the next step in the adventure of life in our Lord

Jesus Christ.

Faith First Legacy Sunday mornings, Bi-Monthly, 2nd & 4th Sunday

9:15AM – 10:45AM in St. Paul’s Classrooms.

See calendar to confirm exact dates.

Level 1: Pre-Kindergarten to First Grade

Each of us is, first and foremost, a beloved Child of God, called through Baptism

to live in the light of His Love!

Level 2 and 3: Second and Third Grades

Building upon the knowledge that we are sons and daughters of God, we learn

about the importance and beauty of the Sacraments, given to us by Christ and

handed down through our Church. With lessons drawn from Scripture and the

rich Tradition of our faith we discover the powerful expression of God’s love for

each of us. * Please see the section on Sacramental Preparation for students in the 2nd & 3rd grade who

need to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Holy Communion.

Level 4: Fourth to Fifth Grades

Young people who have received their sacraments explore what it means to grow in Christ’s image.

Salvation History – for Parents Second Sunday - 9:15AM - 10:45AM in Conference Center (during children’s class)

Parents and grandparents of young people also have a wonderful opportunity

to take part in the Faith Development Program with

A Quick Journey Through the Bible, the acclaimed

DVD series from Ascension Press. Learning the story of salvation history provides us with a frame-

work for understanding the other crucial aspects of our Faith, the Sacraments, Divine Grace, Catholic

Morality and Prayer.

Holy Matrimony Contact St. Paul’s Marriage Preparation Coordinator for details.

St. Paul Catholic Community celebrates your engagement and our Lord’s

call to live the holy Sacrament of Marriage.

The Diocese of Phoenix currently requires a minimum of 9 months of preparation for the Sacrament

of Matrimony. Couples must be registered, active parishioners of St. Paul’s, and should notify the par-

ish at least nine months prior to the desired wedding date.

WEDDINGS

Once you start the Marriage Preparation process, the next step is to plan your wedding day. To host

your Nuptial Liturgy, you may choose from one of two beautiful, sacred spaces here: our light-filled

main church or our very intimate chapel. Wedding receptions are also held in the spacious O’Carroll

Hall complete with a dance floor or in our Conference Center (even if your ceremony took place elsewhere).

NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING (NFP)

Natural Family Planning respects God’s design for married love. An understanding of the benefits of

NFP is a vital part of preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage and a requirement in the Diocese of

Phoenix. Please register on the Natural Family Planning’s website at www.phxnfp.org

ANNULMENTS

The transcendent joy and dignity of the Sacrament of Marriage requires that we remove any and all

impediments that may thwart our ability to truly receive that grace imparted in the sacrament. St.

Paul’s Nullity Minister is specially trained and ready to guide you through the process of seeking heal-

ing from a possible annulment.

Mass celebrated for the repose of the soul of your loved one. Pre-

planning is available by contacting the Liturgy Office. In addition

to specially scheduled Masses according to the Order of Christian

Funerals, Mass intentions are available every day of the week

whereby the Mass of Day is offered on someone’s behalf.
