We are told to get dressed, "put on Christ" and live lives of faithfulness to get ready for the coming of Jesus. So this is your invitation and encouragement from your family at Faith Lutheran. Be alert for the coming of the Lord as you bask in the lights and color and joy of the season. Discern ways to prepare a place for the Christ child in your life. Gather to worship with God's people. Take time to rest in God's presence. Find space for prayer and meditation. Put on Christ in acts of compassion and joyful service. May the peace of the season be with you! Colla Voce of the Sierra will offer a minipreview of their upcoming concert "Songs of Hope." If you want to donate items for the baskets, you can pick up a shopping list on the table at the back of the sanctuary. Non perishables can be placed in the blue tubs near the door. AUBURN INTERFAITH FOOD CLOSETShare your holiday bounty!Baskets in Back of SanctuaryOur baskets support the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet all year long, but in November and December, we put special emphasis on our local food ministries. Each week of Advent we will highlight a specific food item for your shopping list. Our food baskets will be presented at the altar each week during worship.
