PCC’s Project Freedom Project Freedom is PCC’s Fall 2011 initiative designed to help individuals and families in our community learn and apply biblical principles of money management. Project Freedom begins Sunday, October 23rd and will run until February, 2012 and includes the following:
Financial Peace University (FPU). FPU is the core of Project Freedom, and is a 13-week group study that teaches important, practical financial principles that are biblically based. Groups begin the week of October 23rd and have a week off for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Project Freedom Sermon Series. Coinciding with the last 5 weeks of FPU, PCC’s Sunday morning sermon series will address personal finances and take FPU a step further as Senior Pastor Brian Hughes brings applicable insights from the Bible.
Church Wide Mission Project. PCC will rally around a creative mission project that will bless those in need in our community.
Party! The average family pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 over the course of FPU! In February, PCC will host an enormous celebration of the life change and freedom people have experienced through Project Freedom.
Lifetime Membership to FPU. Dave Ramsey’s FPU website includes a Member Resource Center with free, helpful tools and resources, as well as a listing of FPU classes offered across the country. By participating in Project Freedom at PCC you receive a lifetime membership to all of the resources.

How to Get Involved You can get involved in Project Freedom in 3 easy steps:
1. Find a large group (see page 6) or a home-based small group (see page 7) in this catalogue.
2. Sign up for the group of your choice. You can sign up on Sunday morning at the
Information Center, or you can sign up online at www.pccprojectfreedom.net.
3. Attend your group the week of October 23rd.

Large Groups In addition to our normal, home-based small groups, we are offering large, seminar-style groups on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at our Powhatan and Westchester Campuses, respectively. Each large group will participate in the same video teaching as the home-based groups followed by breakout groups where discussion can take place. Breakout group leaders have been selected and trained, and will be prepared to facilitate discussions.
