LEGO Castle AdventureLimitedEngagementExhibitOpeningFall2012Builders of all ages are invited to explore, build and play in LEGO Castle
Adventure! In this exhibit, kids and their families are transported to a
LEGO kingdom where they can become master castle builders. In LEGO
Castle Adventure, visitors can build brick castles, learn about real-world
castles and their building secrets, and plan their ideal castle’s defenses.
Younger visitors can dress up in costume, joust on “horseback” and
explore the castle grounds. Older kids can build a catapult-proof wall,
then test it with our giant LEGO catapult. And visitors of all ages will enjoy
seeing giant LEGO brick models, including a mother dragon and baby!

COSI Academy meets at COSI on the first Saturday of every month
(excluding holidays) from October to May. Scholarships are available.

Evolution of Religion,” a panel discussion about the intersection of science
and religion hosted by Neal Conan, host of NPR’s “Talk of the Nation.”
Panelists will include Nicholas Wade, New York Times writer and author of
“The Faith Instinct.” Presented by COSI, WOSU, the Ohio State University
Department of Entomology and supported by a grant from the John
Templeton Foundation.

eye in this squishy, slippery, and “eye-opening” workshop. Each pair of

Homeschool WorkshopsSingle-day science workshops for students ages 6–13 Parents, learn with your children using materials that you might not have at home (LEGO Mindstorm Robots, COSI’s Adventure and Labs In Life exhibits and more) to better understand real and relevant science concepts. Workshops include pre- and post-visit lessons for use at home to further your child’s science inquiry. Participants socialize with other young scientists while exploring science careers, too!
COSI also offers professional experiences for homeschool students. Youth age 12 and up are invited to join the COSI Team as volunteers.
Earn a letter of recommendation, develop relationships with science educators and business personnel, and much more.
