and tons of fun. Whether you’re a brand new curler or an experienced
one the Nanaimo Curling Centre provides a great event for everyone!

Spring Activities
C a n o e i n g & K a y a k i n g , N a n a i m o L a k e s Nanaimo and the surrounding areas are a paddling paradise. Launch
a kayak or canoe and explore the harbour or the historical shores of
Newcastle Island Marine Provincial Park. There are also a number of
launch sites north or south of Nanaimo to or paddle to a Gulf Island
meander along a quiet coastline.
S t a n l e y P a r k C y c l e , V a n c o u v e r Stanley Park is the pride of Vancouver…a magnificent West Coast
rainforest in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Stanley Park is sur-
rounded by an 11 km (7 mile) seawall bike path that takes about 1
hour to cycle around.
