If you still struggle with the loss and grief associated with divorce, you would benefit from Divorce Care. What about your kids? They struggle with the same kinds of issues surrounding divorce. First Baptist will host two highly successful programs: Divorce Care and Divorce Care for Kids (grades 1-6). Childcare will be provided for preschoolers but we need to know ahead of time if that is required.

Third Annual “Turn Trussville Pink”Wednesday, October 20Comb through your closets and don your best pinks in honor of those fighting or those who have fought breast cancer. The goal is to turn the entire city of Trussville pink! One Community, One Fight!

Eyeglasses needed: Food for FriendsThroughout the month of OctoberFood for Friends Thanksgiving Ministry (a BBA sponsored group) has provided much more than warm meals to the homeless and needy of Birmingham over the years.

Last year our supply of donated eyeglasses ran out. We need more glasses this year—check your drawers, boxes, and other cubbyholes for that old pair of glasses you no longer need.

Beginning this month, baskets will be in the Event and Information Center for you to drop off your donations.
