Fall Family Night
Sunday, October 31 • 5:00–7:00pmBring your family for a time of food, fun and fellowship. There will be food for purchase from area vendors and children will be able to “trick-or-treat” cars and booths around the mall area. Drop by or bring your lawn chairsto sit and visit.
Help is needed: if you can set up your car’s trunk, a booth or a tent display to let kids come by and trick-or-treat, please sign up on Sunday’s worship guide or by emailing Sherrie Forehand at [email protected]. We also need lots of candy for the kids! Candy donations can be dropped off at the Information Center.

Divorce Care & DC4KidsSundays • 5:45 pm • Rooms 202 & 208 (CLC)Does Time heal all wounds? Not necessarily. If you still struggle with the loss and grief associated with divorce, you would benefit from Divorce Care. What about your kids? They struggle with the same kinds of issues surrounding divorce. First Baptist will host two highly successful programs: Divorce Care and Divorce Care for Kids (grades 1-6). Childcare will be provided for preschoolers but we need to know ahead of time if that is required.

Third Annual “Turn Trussville Pink”Wednesday, October 20Comb through your closets and don your best pinks in honor of those fighting or those who have fought breast cancer. The goal is to turn the entire city of Trussville pink! One Community, One Fight!

Eyeglasses needed: Food for FriendsThroughout the month of OctoberFood for Friends Thanksgiving Ministry (a BBA sponsored group) has provided much more than warm meals to the homeless and needy of Birmingham over the years.
Last year our supply of donated eyeglasses ran out. We need more glasses this year—check your drawers, boxes, and other cubbyholes for that old pair of glasses you no longer need.
Beginning this month, baskets will be in the Event and Information Center for you to drop off your donations.
