FALL HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STARS T HE BOYS’ CROSS COUNTRY A LL-STARS Henry Jordan/Seekonk The Warrior sopho- more is one of several talented Seekonk harri- ers who lifted the team to an unbeaten record. Jordan posted a personal best 5k time at the Twi- light Invitational. In that race, he finished seventh with a 16:56 mark. Jor- dan later finished fourth at the South Coast Con- ference Championship, finishing fourth for the conference champs with a 17:24.3 time. A week later, Jordan earned second place at the Frank Mooney Invitational (17:09.8). Jordan qualified for both the MIAA Division 5 Cham- pionship (16:57.3) and MIAA All-State Cham- pionship (17:05.8), finishing 15th and 35th, re- spectively. He also competes for the Seekonk track and field program. Collin Rice/Mansfield The Hornets relied on Rice’s leadership and legs in equal measure, and the senior captain, delivered out on the course. In picking up his first Sun Chronicle All- Star selection, Rice set a personal best 5k time at the Hockomock League Championship, finishing 11th at 16:50.2. He also competed at the Catholic Invitational (17:06), MIAA Division 2 Championship (17:03.1) and All-State Championship (17:08.1). Liam Monahan/North Attleboro The repeat Sun Chronicle All-Star cob- bled together a fine ju- nior season for the Red Rocketeers. Kevin Crawford/Mansfield As a stellar compet- itor for both the Mans- field High cross country and indoor track and field teams, Crawford is a regular honoree on The Sun Chronicle All-Star roster. Kalin Petrov/Mansfield What better honor to bestow upon a runner than his league’s MVP award? Petrov took home that top honor from the Hockomock League in 2017, his final season for the Hornets. Petrov ran an area-best 5k time of 15:51.8 to win the league crown. He later finished ninth at the MIAA Divi- sion 2 Championship (16:08.6) and 12th at the MIAA All-State Championship (16:03.5).
