    sure, this was a very successful summer! Here are some of the comments

    What Parents Are Saying...About YMCA Camp Potawotami

    The camp is very well run; you even make the check-in experiencegreat. I can tell your staff is very well trained. A fantastic week! Amy, mom

    We love the proximity for starters. ACA accreditation means itis a well-run operation that makes kids safety and well-being a

    priority. Not as big as some - smaller scale makes it morepersonal. Bill, dad

    My father attended here in the 1940s.

    Helovedit.FAMECampisnowaperfecttformy son. He loves art and drama, singing, andrecreational games that are not team sports likefootball or basketball. He enjoys hanging out with

    other kids that enjoy the same things. This camp isreally well organized and safe. We are happy. Hewill be back!

    Shawn, dad

    Our camper wanted to know if Very Good was the highest ratinghe could give his counselors. Angela, mom

    I like my boys to have the experienceof going someplace where you mightnot know anyone and you have to

    makefriendsandgureouthowtoget along with different people without mom ordad looking over your shoulder. Its a life skill! We are from a small town;

    Camp Potawatomi is far enough away from us to give us a more diverseexperience with new kids. Also, out of all of the activities/stuff we payfor our kids to go to or have each year, Camp Potawotami is the oneevent that they consistently talk about, and look forward to every year.They may not remember what we got them for Christmas last year, orwhere their Nintendo DS is, but they can tell you exactly what their fa-vorite activity was at camp, or about a special person they connected with. Becky, mom

    My son(s) have had so much fun at Camp Potawotami over theyears that they ask each year if they can come back the next yearand stay longer! That says a lot about a camp. The staff has alwaystaken good care of my boys and instills good Christian values whilehaving a great time! Karen, mom

    Our son enjoyed it very much andlooks forward to next summer. Campbuilds self-esteem, self-condence,

    and gives him a break from everyday

    distractions like video games and TV(not to mention gets him away fromhis sisters for a while).- Daisy, mom
