FAMILY FRIENDLY MODERN Working closely with Altus Architecture + Design and Streeter & Associates, Suzanne Kickhaefer of KICK Interiors created a modern sanctuary for her family. As an interior designer, Suzanne Kickhaefer understands the transformative power of great design. While Suzanne and her family loved their Deephaven neighborhood, they were constantly challenged by the outdated spaces and lack of flow in their 1987 contemporary home. Envisioning a modern, light-filled environment with perfectly scaled rooms and flawless functionality, Suzanne invited Altus Architecture + Design and builder Streeter & Associates to collaborate with her on an exciting whole-house remodel. The Kickhaefer’s new home features a series of bright welcoming spaces, stunning décor, warm oak floors, a luxurious master suite, kitchen and dining areas overlooking a spacious family room and fireplace. A new stairway leads to the lower level game room and play spaces, home office, bedrooms and storage areas.
