The Envirco® MAC 10® LE-DC “Low Energy” Fan Filter
Unit (FFU) meets the needs of clean room users by
offering a quiet, compact filtration unit at a market-
leading low power consumption level to ensure lower
clean room operating costs at a time of increasing
utility costs.
An efficient EC motor together with Envirco’s proprietary
baffling system and backward inclined fan, provide an
energy consumption rate as low as 50W @ 0.45m/s
while delivering high performance and long motor life.
Utilising Envirco’s experience in FFU development, the
MAC 10® LE-DC also features low sound
levels of 45 dBA*, which are a MAC 10® family
benchmark.

The MAC 10® IQ was the world’s first intelligent Fan
Filter Unit. With its microcomputer controlled EC motor,
the MAC 10® IQ adjusts itself automatically to maintain
the desired airflow, compensating for changes in static
pressure, filter loading or other local conditions. It is
competitively priced, compact (365mm) and operates
quietly and efficiently (105W), all benchmarks of the
MAC 10® FFU range. The MAC 10® IQ maintains airflow
so constantly and consistently that the need for future
balancing is greatly reduced. It is an ideal choice for
close-control environments, customised LAF benches,
mini-environments and non-ducted applications.

Envirco® designed and manufactured the first
commercial clean room in the world 50 years ago and
is proud of its pioneering background. It continues to
provide competitive filtration solutions to all types of
clean rooms worldwide including the semiconductor,
medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical,
nanotechnology, micro-electronics, hospital,
automotive, disk drive and watch-making sectors.
The Envirco® MAC 10® Fan Filter Unit (FFU) was the first
compact FFU (318mm) with a low operating sound level.
Measuring only 51 dBA at 0.45m/s, the MAC 10® Original
Standard 600mm x 1,210mm provides one of the lowest
sound levels of any FFU.
The MAC 10® Original Standard (STD) version comes
with the filter integrated with the unit housing, requiring
the unit to be removed from the ceiling grid to replace
the filter.
