Last month, we have sighed MoU with National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) for mobilisation and training of beggar’s community for skill development training program in Furniture & Fittings sector. The pilot training will strat in Bihar and West Bengal. FFSC has also signed MoU with Bracecorp Technologies Private Limited as a media partner to the council through Sourcing Hardware magazine focussing on the kitchen and fitting industry. FFSC has also participated in Skill Exhibition cum IndiaSkills Regional Competiitons- Eastern Chapter on 15th July 2018 during at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. I am happy one of our esteemed Industry Member Narsi Interior Infrasturcture Private Limited has conducted RPL of 250 carpenters under the the CSR program at Sanchor, Rajasthan. This kind of CSR activities by our industry member will create a win win situation for both our industry workforce. We have also organised rozgar melas during these last two months. The rozgar melas were organised at Dhanbad (Jharkhand), Birbhum (West Bengal) and Alipurduar (West Bengal). I am pleased that India got an opportunity to participate in EuroSkills - 2018 which will held in Budapest, Hungary from 26th – 28th September in eight trades as “Guest Country”. Joinery is one of the trade of competiition in Euro Skills 2018. I wish all the best to our candidate Mr Sushith who has been qualified to represent India as guest competitior in EuroSkills-2018 along with Mr Narender Singh as Expert for joinery trade. As a regular activity we have conducted two ToTs at Kerala and Andhra Pradesh and one ToA at Bihar. FFSC has also started the training at Nishatpur, Madhya Pradesh under the CSR scheme of Central Railside Warehouse Company Limited (CRWC) through National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC). MoU Signing for beggar project National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) signed MoU with FFSC for mobilisation and training of beggar’s community for skill development training program in Furniture & Fittings sector. MoU was signed by Shri K. Narayan, Managing Director, NBCFDC and Shri Gurpal Singh, Chief Executive Officer, FFSC. The training will be imparted at West Bengal and Bihar.

MoU Signing with Bracecorp Technologies Private Limited Bracecorp Technologies Private Limited is a highly focused busi-ness-to-business media organisation. Its current expertise lies in the industries of builders’ hardware, bathroom fittings, ceramics, modular kitchens, lighting, electricals and home improvement products. Bracecorp Technologies is also involved in the turnkey design and execution of lighting & automation projects for Smart City installations. FFSC signed MoU with Bracecorp Technologies Private Limited as a media partner to the council through Sourcing Hardware magazine focussing on the kitchen and fitting industry.

Selection Committee meeting for CSR- CRWC, NBCFDC Selection committee meeting was held for Skill Development Training Programme under CSR of Central Railside Warehouse Company Limited (CRWC) at Chhola, Nishatpur, Madhya Pradesh with the support of National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation. The meeting was organised by Wadhwani Education Society, the affilaited Training Partner of FFSC.

Awareness Camp at Mewat, Haryana NBCFDC in collaboration with its State Channelising Agency -Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Section Kalyan Nigam organised awareness camp at Nuh, Mewat(Haryana) on 08.08.2018 to spread awareness of NBCFDC loan and Skill Development Training schemes. The Training Partner Human Development Society participated in the camp and mobilised 130 particpants for the skill development training.

Certificate distributed to the 195 certified candidates of RPL under the banner of CSR program of M/s Narsi Interior Infrastructures Private Limited on 28th July 2018 at Sanchor, Rajasthan

Three days of RPL was conducted for 250 carpenters under the CSR program of M/s Narsi Interior Infrastructures Private Limited at Sanchor, Rajasthan from 15th to 18th June 2018. 195 candidates

were successfully certified in the assessment and certification done by FFSC

Euro Skills 2018 India got an opportunity to participate in EuroSkills - 2018 which will held in Budapest, Hungary from 26th – 28th September in eight trades as “Guest Country”. Trades are as follows:

Joinery (Skill Number: 25) belongs to Furniture & Fittings Sector. Winners of 3 regional skill competition in carpentry trade were shortlisted as per the defined guidelines of WorldSkills – India, NSDC. EuroSkills Qualifier Competition was held at School of Carpenter Skills, Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur on 16th -17th August 2018. The competitors were:

Mr. Vikash Kumar Naga (Track 3, Rajasthan, Winner Regional Skill Competition – West, Jaipur)

Mr. Sukhbir (Punjab, Winner Regional Skill Competition – North, Lucknow)

Mr. Sushith (Kerala, Winner Regional Skill Competition – South, Bengaluru)

Mr. Sushith from Kerala qualifies the competition to represent India as guest competitor in EuroSkills- 2018 along with Mr. Narender Singh from School of Carpenter Skills, Bhartiya Skill Development University as Expert for Joinery. Mr. Ashok Jangir and Mr. Anant Kumar were present as Jury during the competition.
