Getting Started
Facebook Fanpages are hot right now. From businesses to individuals everyone
is trying to use the power of Fanpages to promote their business/brand.
In this special report, I am going to share a money-making idea of creating
Fanpages catered towards a certain market and then making money from that
Fanpage.
So what does this strategy involve?
This strategy involves creating a Fanpage for a celebrity, drive traffic to it and
then monetize the page and make money.
Celebrity Fanpages are always going to be popular with people because people
are always joining Fanpages of their favourite celebrity. For example, take a
look at the following Celebrity Fanpages and you will see what I mean.

After Michael Jackson’s tragic death in 2009 there were a growing number of
Fanpages. People are still joining Michael Jackson Fanpages as a tribute to the
latest artist.
As you can see (Above) there are lots of Fans for Michael Jackson and people
are still joining the Fanpages in respect.
Here are several Fanpages for the singer Lady Gaga. Her official Fanpage has
over 25 million fans!
We can see that other similar Fanpages created for the artist by normal
Facebook fans are getting fans every single day.

Here are several Harry Potter Fanpages. As you can see there are lots and lots
of fans for all these different Harry Potter pages. Despite the competition
people are still joining these pages in huge numbers.
And here is a funny Fanpage devoted to Harry Potter.

As you can see this Fanpage has just over 236,991 fans. People have joined this
Fanpage as a means of “curiosity”.
Titles like these in Fanpages are always getting a lot of traffic.
So how can you make money from this strategy?
Current Buzz
The first thing you need to do is firstly see the “current buzz” surrounding a
celebrity.
There are two main websites I use to find out about the buzz.
The first website I use is Google Trends
The purpose of using this is to see which Celebrities are getting a lot of
searches right now.

As you can see I have highlighted a celebrity that is getting a lot of attention
based on the example above. This celeb is a Football player in the US NFL
Division.
Google Trends is excellent when it comes to short-term buzz.
However, the website I prefer to use is the Google Insights tool.
Simply head over to Google Insights tool and see what kind of phrases people
have been typing over the last 30 days or so.
We are going to do a “web search” under the “Entertainment” category.
The next thing to do is click “Search”.

We can now see that the “Rising Searches” return several celebrities names (as
highlighted).
For the purposes of this report I am going to focus on “Teena Marie”.
Teena Marie was a former songwriter/musician whom recently passed away.
At that time, we can see she has been in the news a lot recently after her tragic
passing.

The next thing to do is create a Fanpage on Teena Marie to pay tribute.
So simply head over to http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php and
create your Fanpage for your chosen celebrity.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is just an example to illustrate on how to spot a “buzz”
on Facebook Fan Page. In reality, I would unlikely use this to make money
because I don’t feel comfortable of making money from other people’s sadness
(death).

The next thing to do is monetize this Fanpage and make money.
For now, to get traffic to your Fanpage, you can simply head over to Fiverr.com
and purchase a few gigs that will get you quick traffic to this Fanpage and get
you people from all over the world.
Once you have started getting fans to your Fanpage you will need to monetize
it with some income revenue ads.
The best thing about celebrity Fanpages is that you can still make money by
promoting Amazon Associate Affiliates
So the first thing to do is head over to Amazon Associate Affiliates and sign up
to their sign up page.
Once you have signed up you will be able to promote thousands and
thousands of their products and make money.
Once signed up click on the “Links and Banners” at the top of the Amazon
associate website.
Then simply type in the name of the celebrity’s products you wish to promote.
In this case I am going to type in “Teena Marie”.

The next thing to do is click on “Go” until you see a screen like this (see below).
We can see here that there are lots of Teena Marie albums we can promote.
Once you have found the product you wish to promote simply click on “Get
Link”.

The next thing to do is customize your Amazon associates banner.
Facebook does not allow you to copy and paste Javascript code so what you
need to do is simply take the affiliate link from your Amazon associates code
and paste it into a short URL service.

So for example, my affiliate link from the following code would be the one
highlighted in red.
The next thing to do is head over to http://www.tinyurl.com paste our Affiliate
link from Amazon.
So now we can see that if we paste our long affiliate link onto tinyurl.com it
will point to your affiliate link page.

The next thing to do is head over to your Facebook Fanpage and add a tab for
the landing page.
There are many software out there that can provide this solution. Just do a
search in Google for “Fan Page software” or “Facebook Fan page Tab”.
Once you add a tab page your Fanpage. you should then see a welcome page
that looks something like this (see below).

The WYSIWYG editor will allow you to add pictures, and URL links.
The above is just an example of the image, you can use any other image and so
on - The BUY Now link will take people to the Affiliate link to Amazon
Now all that is needed for this Fanpage is lots of targeted fans who have a
passion for music and are a fan of this singer!
Also, if your Fan Page gets a lot of buzz, there’s a possibility that it can grow on
it’s own and gets thousands of Likes!
