styles is inspired by the decorative

classical and traditional floral designs
as well as ‘art nouveau’ and

Each design is carefully prepared using
high specification, colour-stable polyester
film with built-in UV inhibitors and
natural finish pure lead stripThe designs
are equally as effective when applied
to clear or patterned glass.

OverviewThe Fanlight designs shown in thisbrochure are constructed using thehighest quality overlay products whichhave been used sucessfully in DecorativeGlass applications for many years andhave gained a reputation for qualityand reliability.
RTF ‘Traditional Fanlights’ utilise leadprofiles and high performance StainedGlassArt Film in a variety of coloursand textures.
RBF ‘Bevelled Glass Fanlights’ areconstructed using handmade bevelled glass piecespermanently bonded to thewindow glass, combined with leadprofiles and Stained GlassArt Film.
Quality StandardsAll the Fanlights are normallymanufactured into insulated glass units tobe installed in modern high performancewindow systems.
The products are manufactured withinthe scope of ISO9001:2000 andconform to the latest European qualityBSEN1279 which guarantees highstandards of both thermal insulationand long life.
Design and Colour Optionsand LimitationsFilm and Lead Colour Options. Leadfinishes and Film colours used aresuggestions and therefore may bechanged. Swatches are availableshowing alternative colours.
Bevel Size Limitations.Designsshown in the brochureare based on a Fanlight
size of 520mmwide by 350mmhigh but usually can be adapted to fitmost other Fanlight sizes.However, glassbevels are standard sizes and for smallerFanlights consideration should be madeof their suitability in an overall design.
Technical PerformanceStained GlassArt Film.These materialsare polyester based and have excellentUV resistance due to the highperformance ink systems.They arecolour stable and conform toBSEN1279 requirements.
Lead Profiles.All leadprofiles use highperformancepressure-sensitiveadhesive forpermanentapplication towindows whichis guaranteed for aminimum of 10 years.
Lead Oxidisation. Likeany natural product exposed
to the environment, self adhesive leadwill undergo a level of atmospherictransformation.This is normal and occursbecause the lead oxidises to form anaturally protective film on the surface.It will eventually settle down to take onthe ‘weathered lead’ appearance that isadmired in old buildings.
Soldered Joints.Some of the Fanlightsshow the joints soldered.This is togive a more traditional appearance onlyand does not have any effect on thetechnical performance. Soldered jointsare only available on Fanlights wherenatural lead is used, and not wherecoated lead is used.
BevelAdhesives. Bevels are permanentlybonded to the window glass using anadhesive system that has been weatherand time tested to conform toASTM-G53-94 standards.
Cleaning and MaintenanceFanlights can be cleaned regularly usingwater based proprietary glass cleaners.Always avoid the use of any cleanersthat may contain solvents or have an
abrasive effect on the surfacecleaned.

exquisite.They are available in five striking colours - amethyst, aquamarine, blue, green
and red as well as clear.Their extra facets create even more stunning light effects and
they work beautifully in designs that incorporate glass bevels and coloured films.

are these clusters with a textured surface finish. By enhancing the relief effect they
bring a spectacular sparkle to our designs.They are made by glue-chipping
the glass - a traditional technique that creates a fern effect of clear and frosted glass

fusionglasstile fanlightsThese latest additions to our range of
decorative glass add a contemporary
look to any home with the use of
Fusion glass tiles.
These glass tiles are made from genuine
coloured glass which are cut to the
design and then melted together at high
temperatures until they fuse together.
We then bond these to the outer face
on the insulated glass unit and finish off
the design with leadwork and coloured
or textured films where required.
We offer a range of 4 colour options for each design with blue,green, red or neutral and certain designs are also available witha black tile option.
