Every inch of our world is rich with diversity and beauty. So are the people in it. Each one of us conceptualizes our own fantasies and creates a home within them where our imaginations are free to create images and scenes that are unique and marvelous. I believe that fantasy and reality can collide through works of photography, books, art, music, nature, and of course people. People choose to fantasize because it provides and outlet from our day-to-day lives. It gives us a chance to be in control and to create images of happiness and peace; especially when we’re without them normally. We fantasize about things we crave; like love or exploration. When we dream our minds are soaring through possibilities where we are in control, and we are the hero. Fantasies and fables can fill our minds with rich ideas of a different life we could live, or different ways of living our own lives. Sometimes we can learn from them, or else be consumed by their illusions and dreams. Sometimes I think we forget to look around and enjoy the fantasies that we already have every day, such as the beauty of the night sky or the delicacy of flowers and plants. Whether it is imaginary or reality, our world is filled with beauty and many things that have yet been discovered, and our minds can help us to do that.

For many of us, music can be a calming and soothing way to escape from stress and find comfort in something peaceful and unique. I’ve always wished I could be more musical, but I know that my Luna ukulele is one thing that can always make me happier. Music and songs can consume us as they weave a way into our hearts and connect with some of our deepest thoughts and emotions. Music can be simple or complex and finds a way to speak to every language, age and style.

We are all trying to learn and prosper, and books help us to do that. Behind every story is a collection of thoughts and emotions strung together to create a portal for others to be engrossed in. Books come in every shape, size and variety to fit the ideas of different people. The story The Fountain of Fair Fortune is my favorites from the book ‘The Tales of Beetle the Bard’ written by J.K. Rowling. It combines fantasy, mystery, love and cleverness that consumes me every time I read it.

Photography is a magical way for anyone to create a story and discover many of the beauties nature, humans and animals have to offer. It is a way to remember and cherish special moments we encounter. Although people are always changing, memories will always stay the same and through photography we are enabled to make connections and focus on the details that are always surrounding us.

When we dream, we enter a world that is entirely our own. We are given the gifts of peace and privacy that no one but us are able to experience. Our dreams can mean different things at different times; but many will always support the idea that a dream is a wish the heart makes. Dazzles, my stuffed bunnie, has been a part of my nightly hibernation for years and will continue to be.

Not all of us are born with an artistic hand, but those who are hold a very special gift that is worth sharing. Art can represent everything we experience in our lives along with ideas of the afterlife. It is a peaceful outlet for the many positive and negative struggles we come to face in our lives. Soccer has always been my favorite thing to do and I understand that sports and hobbies allow us to release struggles and anger. When we compete for something we give our heart and soul into trying to get the outcome we’d like. I wore these turf shoes when I travelled to Arctics in Yukon last year. I will never forget the things I learned and the people I met all while I was doing the thing I love most.

No matter what others say, I will always believe that love is the driving force behind all things we do. Love is old and love is new, and true love is rare. When we find love within someone or something, it consumes us and ignites a spark that will never end. For me this locket symbolizes the lasting beauty found in a relationship and the feelings it allows us to feel.

For me personally, nature brings me more peace and happiness than anything else. Trees and mountains and flowers and fields and canyons are all unique and special in a different way. I would feel closer to God if I were to pray in a forest rather than church. Learning to appreciate the small wonders in nature can allow us t find a fantasy and world that we would otherwise look past.

Religion can be a beautiful way for us to find hope and happiness in times we find ourselves lost or alone. Discovering a new passion or light can fill our souls and bring us peace and security. Having something to believe in allows some of our burdens to be released and helps clear our minds and leave room for the more important things we have to focus on in our lives.
