One summer morning Eleanor, a retired elementary teacher from Kenmare, ND, was visiting her daughter inWahpeton. She happened to watch the Valley News Live TV interview between Steve Poitras and B-17 pilotDuane Nelson. She wondered if it could possibly be the same Duane Nelson from Kenmare she had taught in

the second grade. In her mind she knew it just had to be. So Eleanor and herdaughter made a special trip to the museum to coordinate an early morning

surprise visit for Eleanor and her former studentWhat a glorious reunion some 60 years later!
