The Kiaro! prints labels fast, whether you want rolls of finished labels or just one label at a time!

The Kiaro! keeps your production moving, printing labels at up to 8 inches per second (40 feet/12 meters per minute). To translate its speed into label-making productivity, if your labels are 4 inches long (102mm), you will be able to print over 7,000 labels per hour!

But what is print speed without print quality? There is no need to worry. The Kiaro! prints labels in high resolution faster than any other tabletop color label printer. You’ll get the Kiaro!’s 1200 dpi resolution even when you’re printing labels at top speed. If you wish, you can engage the Kiaro!’s ink-saving Economy mode, but even with less ink used, you’ll still be printing great-looking labels in 1200 dpi!

In order to maintain print quality, the Kiaro! automatically performs periodic cleanings “in job.” This means that, if the Kiaro! detects that a cleaning is required while you are printing labels, it will pause, perform a cleaning, and resume printing the very same label. Unlike other label printers, the web is never cut and you will finish your job without “splicing” your roll of labels.

Kiaro! Inks: The Kiaro! uses four separate ink cartridges, one for each CMYK color. Printing at 40 feet (12m) per minute in 1200 dpi requires very precise, small droplets, and the Kiaro! ink set uses a special chemical formulation to print at this high speed and resolution. Kiaro! inks have excellent flow and quick-drying characteristics, and main-tain their color on the shelf for months without fading. Each Kiaro! ink comes in a 240mL large capacity cartridge.

Kiaro! Labels: To produce labels that go beyond just beautiful appearance (although they have that too) QuickLabel developed Kiaro! paper and synthetic label substrate materials to work specifically with Kiaro! inks. Kiaro! materials produce high-performance labels that resist moisture, abrasion, smearing, many solvents, and UV light, and that can be used in high heat as well as refrigerator and freezer conditions. Finished Kiaro! labels are available in hundreds of sizes and shapes.
