Problem 1: Floor Joist brace.
Traditionally backer is used in this manner,
however in tight spots and around existing floor
joist and brace.Problem 2: Nailing from
the top.Traditional backer can be difficult to work with and install, nearly impossible to nail from the top if you
can place it there at all
Problems 1 and 2 solved.FastBacker can easily be applied from the floor with
sheetrock screws
Problem :The plumbing is in the back. Traditional backer can not be applied. Problem solved: With FastBacker I you apply the backer from the front of the framing with a sheetrock screw.
Problem : Floor Joist Braces, wiring and plumbing all make this difficult to apply traditional backer
Problem Solved: FastBacker I is applied from the floor with sheetrock screws.

FastBacker II, split down the

application.
Simply staple FastBacker II to
framing. Only FastBacker II can be installed with a
staple and only in a wall situation.
Problem: The wall intersected with an existing wall. We were unable to use traditional backer. Problem solved: With FastBacker I this problem was solved.
