• Bharti Foundation
– Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Group Companies.
– The Foundation aims to help underprivileged children and young people of our country realize their potential.
• Satya Bharti School Program
– The Satya Bharti School Program is the flagship program of Bharti Foundation.
– It aims to deliver free quality education to underprivileged children, with special focus on the girl child across rural India.
– The program goal is to establish 500 Primary and 50 Senior Schools reaching out to over 200,000 students
– The promise of this large scale program, through its operation, is to create a replicable, scalable and holistic model of quality education in rural India
– Present Operational Status:
• Number of Schools Operational: 250
• States of Operation: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh & Tamil Nadu
• Number of Students Enrolled: Over 36765
Introduction
Geographical Location:
– Fathepura is situated very near to National High Way No.8 (Delhi – Jaipur High Way).
– The nearest Govt. Sr. Secondary School, is in Pipli which is aprrox. 4-5kms. – The nearest Government Primary Health Centre is in Dhundaria which is
aprrox. 5 kms from Fathepura. – The nearest Post office is in Pipli.– The nearest Police station is Neemrana ,which is approx. 10 km form the
village.– The nearest market is Neemrana which is approx. 10 km form the village.– Drinking water facility provided by government and constructed water supply
tank, apart from this Hand pumps and bore wells are other source of water.– The main occupation of villagers are agriculture, working in Private Factories
& some people are doing their own Business.. – The village is well connected with roads and connecting to NH 8.– The village is very near to Japanese Zone and Indian Export Promotion Zone
of RICCO.

About the Community
Cultural Background– Majority of the population belongs to Hindu community .– Dominant cast in village is Bawariya. – The villagers followed the all Hindu rituals and festivals.– The dressing style of community is long white Kurta & Dhoti / Pant & Shirt, for men and
women dressing style is Ghagra & Odhni/suite and salwar.– It’s a mix culture of Rajasthan & Hariyana as Hariyana border is very close to this location. – They are the followers of all Hindu God & Goddess. – It is Men dominant community and they are the main decision makers.– The Bawariya cast is known for making Local Wine.
• There are many problems in the village but we felt that Awareness of Girls Child Birth is one of the major problem for villagers, because the villagers want only boys should take birth and if any girl takes birth they become sad or do sonography of two or three month child before birth and killed if it is child .

• Organised a meeting with community people to make them understand about the initiative of Satya Bharti School.
• Organised a rally on Girl Child Birth and educate community people about the importance of girl.
• Conducted Street play in different location of community.
• Prepare the Slogans & posters on Girl Child Birth.
We ‘Did’:
• The community people recognized the effort of Satya Bharti School.
• People understand the importance of girl child.• The community people feel good happy when our
students do the effort for spreading the awareness of girl child birth.
Impact on Community:
• The Satya Bharti Staff members took the oath that they will understand the equal boys & girls.
• Children feel proud to be a part of this campaign and become change agents.

Experience of Community Members & Teachers:
• The Teachers feel that they can make a difference by initiating such kind of campaign in village.
• The community people feel that they can save many girl child,
as well as to educate others community people about Girl Child Birth.
• We will be in touch with community people and will remind the message “Mari Beti Mera Gaurav” regarding our title “Girl Child Birth” to community people.
• To Conduct more Nukad Natak, Relly on Girl Child Birth to spread the awareness of Girl Child Birth.
