Heavenly Father,
since the time of the Apostles
You have inspired the Church

to assist in a special way
in the pastoral mission of Christ. Bless the deacons
and all other ordained and non-ordained ministers
that they may be humble
and faith-inspired in their service.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.

so that each one may receive good or evil, according to
what he has done in the body.” – 2 Corinthians 5:10 We
are all accountable for the gifts God has given us – our
time, our talent and our treasure. Each of us is
accountable not only for our own life but for the lives of
others as well. One day God will ask each of us what did
we do with the gifts we were given. How will you respond?
