REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL AHG LEVELS:READ A BOOK OR WATCH A MOVIE about Our Lady of Fatima. Discuss what you learned with your family or AHG Unit/Troop. Answer the following questions:
What are the names of the three children to whom Mary appeared?
When, where, and how many times did Mary appear to the children?
What happened at the final apparition? What is the significance of the apparitions?
What was Mary’s message and what did Mary ask of us?
Create two Our Lady of Fatima prayer cards. Print the Fatima Novena Prayer on one side and draw or color a picture of Our Lady of Fatima on the other side. Share your extra prayer card with some-one in need of hope. Pray for the person you chose to share the card with.

• Mary’s message at Fatima was one of hope. With your parent or AHG Unit/ Troop read and discuss Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraphs 1817-1821. Discuss the meaning of hope and how you can practice it in your life.
• Discuss how the message of hope from Our Lady of Fatima can be embraced by people of all faiths. How can this message be shared with others in a respectful and loving manner, even among members of different faiths?
• Discuss how the lives of the children were changed after the apparitions. What does it mean to be simple and child-like? What were the world events during the time of the apparitions?
• Help organize a hands-on service project that brings hope to your community.
